Have you tried using the Bluetooth jack on the guitar while plugging in a cabled microphone into the instrument and/or aux inputs on the amp?

Hi, microphones need different impedance to work with different equipment, you should buy a microphone adapter (XLR female to 1/4" male jack) with high impedance (don't forget this, it's the most important) and once you have plugged this adapter into your microphone (which normally has a male XLR) you connect it to a Bluetooth transmitter (which should have a 1/4" input and tell me if it works? Let me know 🙂

Yeah, I should have waited just long enough to discover the THR30IIA.

When scrubs was on the air I used to get it quite a bit. Not so much these days.

@@FredFacker haha cool cool, that guy's hilarious. To use a mic with this amp, the only way I find, is using the line outs to an interface, mic to the interface, and then in the DAW use the interface drivers not the THR, which works great but of course no wireless mobility. I reallllly wish this amp had a mic in. Ah well.

I am wondering if I purchased a second THR30 would one transmitter control both receivers to double the volume? Same with streaming backing tracks. You are smart so do you think you can stream backing tracks to two amps with a single Bluetooth connection ?

By design I think the TH30 searches for different channels, so that if you have two units side by side, their transmitters don't conflict. I imagine the receivers only hold a 1-to-1 connection. It's the same with bluetooth, it will only do 1-to-1. You have to disconnect from one to connect to the other. You can get channel controlled transmitters/receivers and manually set them to the same channel, but that would all be peripheral equipment you could use on any device.

So why not just line out from the THR to any other amp or PA? You don't need the second amp to be wireless.

@@FredFacker That makes too much sense😎. So just so I get it. line out from 1st THR30 to Aux in on 2nd
So I would get both the backing tracks and amp model that my Airstep pedal uses on 1st amp and just use clean channel on second amp as it will produce the exact sounds coming from amp 1 so when I switch channels the on amp 1, amp 2 will reproduce the sound? So all I need a cable from 1/4 inch to 3.5 jack. Or I could even get a cheap wireless system and put transmitter in line out and get an adapter so I could use receiver on amp 2 in aux jack. Does that make sense to you? I know you are the smarter of the two of us when it comes to amp hacks etc. Really appreciate your advice!!!

@@director2bob a regular guitar cable from line out to input would work but all amp controls and effects would be active on the second amp. A line out to stereo plug into the aux wod duplicate the output of the first amp bypassing all but the volume control of the second amp.

@@FredFacker Fred…..appreciate your help trying to get this dual amp setup working. But if I went from line out on amp 1 to line in on amp 2, that means if I now use amp 2 to control different channels, wouldn’t the backing tracks be distorted if I used a high gain channel on amp 2 because it will distort whatever signal is sent into the input. Or maybe there is a pedal I can use that takes input from guitar and sends a stereo output output amp 1 and amp 2. I just need to make sure I can figure out how to get backing tracks streaming from iPhone to both amps so I can get a balanced sound between guitar and tracks. I can’t have backing tracks just going to one amp and guitar signal coming from both amps as the sound would not be balanced. I know there has to be a way to get this dual amp setup working. I just can’t figure it out.
