My 2 year old has only heard this song about twice in his life. One time at breakfast he just started singing “Holy holy holy” and he’s delayed in speech. He raised his arms up in the air. So I played it and he started to sing the holy bit again and dance to it.

My faith is enriched by reading all the saints comments. The communion of saints is the doctrine that all believers are one in Christ - those who are still living and those who are in heaven already
This brings me comfort. I had it played at my husband's funeral to give me the strength that only faith in God can provide to get you thru times of great pain and loss, the certain knowledge that God is Holy and is still in control

I sing in my head this great hymn of praise to our God every morning when I wake up!!! I am in very poor health and sometimes get the words wrong, but God knows my heart!!! I love His majesty so!!! This hymn was always on page 1 in the Baptist Hymnal!!!!! My dad was an old fashioned song leader!!! Mom played the piano and picked up the songs very quickly as a child--they have stayed with me all of my life---how I love this one!!! The other old hymns, too. My dad often told the stories behind the hymns!!!! How I loved that!!! Mom and dad are with the Lord now. They served Him together for 73 years of marriage!!!! He took them home gently at the ages of 90 and 94--just over 4 months apart--both in good health!!! Praise His Holy Name!!!

My story begins like this, I see the Lord's hand from the time of my conception in my life, My Mom wanted to abort me, I was saved due to the efforts of a Doctor who is a Catholic Nun, All my chilhood memories are flooded with how I searched for God, I was very much involved in all religious activities but I still did not have the real peace in his heart. I often wondered, “After all these religious ceremonies which I am performing every day, am I in right relationship with God? Is he drawing closer to me? My earliest encounter with Christ was big image of the Sacred Heart, I always felt called by Him, During classes and even at break I used to look at Him, the day His eyes met mine, He never left me, I still was a stauch Hindu, I wanted to overcome my karma by performing devotional rituals, but fear of death and reincarnation had overcome me, the words of Christ to Martha has set me free " I am the Ressurection", I followed Jesus right from I was 11, I was hated by my family and relatives for my faith in Him, but the Lord was gracious enough to take me into His fold when I was 16, I was baptized along with my Mom and maternal Grandmother into the Church. Jesus my Savior, my King my all in all changed my life, there is no meaning to life without Him.
I'm preaching on Revelation 4-5 tomorrow. I have been listening to this song over and over and over trying to just imagine the throne room of God. May we all lift up our hearts in worship to the lamb who was slain to satisfy God's wrath and judgement. Our sins were judged and punished, but we were spared because of Jesus great love for us, and he took what a child would call our big spanking. May God always break my heart for Him. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Spirit, I love you.
Every night for a month now I have come to this channel to listen to this glorious song before I go to bed. It brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it Glorius and hopeful message. When my mom was all most at the end of her life’s journey, I heard something say Holy, Holy, Holy to me. And I of course asked my sister if that was a song and she said yes. So she and I sang this to mom in the hospital last year. They had her in comfort care but I believe she still heard us. And God, because we were just about having church in there with the Holy Spirit.

I use to work in a nursing facility for many years and we would have Wednesday afternoon services for the residents and this one resident who always asked everyone for a quarter when asked what song to be sung would say Holy, Holy, Holy, not able to read but she knew the words to this great uplifting song😂❤miss them all ,I imagine Katherine up there singing it to the Lord, 🙏💕
First time I heard this hymn sung by my Mom was when I was at the age of three. That was six decades and two years past. She used to wake us up three siblings early in the morning to worship God and pray. It was during that time also that she led us to believe and receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. Since that time on, every time I open my eyes to wake up, I could not help but fall down on my knees to worship and thank God through Christ that His gift of life is still intact; I start singing that hymn followed by 'Great Is Thy Faithfulness' and 'What a Friend We in Jesus,' before joining Him in His intercessory ministry. A song of comfort. I remember singing this in Church as a child with my mother and sister. It is the most beautiful hymn that reflects the Glory of God in the life he has given us on this earth and forever more in Heaven. Our love ones who have passed over are now living with the Lord God Almighty.
In my 7+ decade on this rock. Entering my 50th yr of ministry. I cannot imagine a day without GOD in my life. I cannot imagine coming upon a situation, problem, that when I ask HIS help and I use W W J D and I can help another. The greatest thing aside from prayer is Singing to the LORD and giving HIM PRAISE> In my heart I do believe HE HEARS US ALL for Songs of Praise, the music the singers, the musicians, are sending this to HIM just as the incense represent our prayers going UP UP to HIM. Glory be to God, the Holy Spirit directed me to this song when I was praising God with my angels today. It was a happy moment. The Joy of the Lord is our strength not the joy the world brings; the joy of the world is dependent on humans and good news but the Joy of the Lord is only found in Christ, and when we shall have Him and abide in Him His Joy fills our heart and whether good news or bad news we know all things work together for our good therefor His Joy fills us all the time.
I REMEMBER SINGING THIS HYMN AT CHURCH SITTING NEXT TO MY DEAR FATHER, PROBABLY 1981... HE'S WITH THE LORD NOW SINCE 1994. IT'S SO EMOTIONAL FOR ME SINGING IT EVERY TIME. THE HYMN IS ABOUT WHAT'S WRITTEN IN REVELATION CHAPTER 4, THE THRONE IN HEAVEN.
I ALWAYS feel the same. A pastor named Kevin Zadai visited Heaven and he said the song amongst many played that stood out for him was Holy Holy Holy. the Majestic Lord Jesus Christ sitting on His Throne and all creation worshipping Him moves me greatly.
When you sing this song to the Father and our Master Christ Jesus, if you are not absolutely thrilled to sing it to them, check your faith. You need to dive deeper than you are. Surrender everything to Him! Trust me. It will change who you are (for the better).
There is no other god who has nail holes through their hands to prove their love for us. Jesus is the One and Only God, and the best Friend anyone could be blessed with.
I love this version of this hymn! I have left instructions to my family to have this played at my funeral whenever that day comes. I can't think of a better way to celebrate eternal life than with this song.

Three minutes and 13 seconds I was gone, but in Heaven there is no such thing as time. Many of these hymns have stood the test of time and are so much more meaningful than some of the so-called "worship" music today.

A song of comfort. I remember singing this in Church as a child with my mother and sister. It is the most beautiful hymn that reflects the Glory of God in the life he has given us on this earth and forever more in Heaven. Our love ones who have passed over are now living with the Lord God Almighty.

Glory be to God, the Holy Spirit directed me to this song when I was praising God with my angels today. It was a happy moment. The Joy of the Lord is our strength not the joy the world brings; the joy of the world is dependent on humans and good news but the Joy of the Lord is only found in Christ, and when we shall have Him and abide in Him His Joy fills our heart and whether good news or bad news we know all things work together for our good therefor His Joy fills us all the time.

Three minutes and 13 seconds I was gone, but in Heaven there is no such thing as time.
