Bams is a integrated degree contains ayurveda and allopathy both. After course you have to do internship in both allopathy and ayurvedic hospital. And you can work in both Ayurveda as Amo ( Ayurveda Medical Officer) and in allopathy as Nhm cho ( community health officer) and both are government provided jobs.

@@Insha213 In my state Maharashtra BAMS doctors can get an government and salary is about 80k to 1.3 lakhs but a BDS doctor don’t and also if you take bds then the setup of your own hospital will be costly as the equipment’s are too expensive if you do bams you can practice both allopathy and ayurveda so you can have knowledge of allopathy as much as an Mbbs doctor so that’s an advantage But you can get bds college very easily even in low marks if I tell you about prev year 2022 in my state the bds seats gone in vacancy people were not ready to take it as bams got more scope you have license of both pathy So bams is better I think overall and also from gov job prespective
But bams is oldest medical system and we know about both ayurveda and modren ...just read the sushrut samhita and see the type of fracture then you will know

@@Insha213 In my state Maharashtra BAMS doctors can get an government and salary is about 80k to 1.3 lakhs but a BDS doctor don’t and also if you take bds then the setup of your own hospital will be costly as the equipment’s are too expensive if you do bams you can practice both allopathy and ayurveda so you can have knowledge of allopathy as much as an Mbbs doctor so that’s an advantage
But you can get bds college very easily even in low marks if I tell you about prev year 2022 in my state the bds seats gone in vacancy people were not ready to take it as bams got more scope you have license of both pathy
So bams is better I think overall and also from gov job prespective
But bams is oldest medical system and we know about both ayurveda and modren ...just read the sushrut samhita and see the type of fracture then you will know

1. You actually are least qualified to say anything about Ayurveda and let us decide which is better as we studied both at par.
2. There is no comparison of both pathies as in Ayurveda disease is treated unlike "evidence based medicine" where you have just protocols but no cure!
