Thanks for the video, I just tried this, but the lock nut seized when tightening the carriage bolt on the other side and I had to hacksaw it off. I figured out that you could use the stock 2 inch bolt and secure a lock nut all the way through if you remove the end cap to keep the bolt tight instead of punching in a new carriage bolt. seems to work just fine.
Seems like they could have punched squares holes on both sides and it would have simplified things a lot. Both for customers ordering and for them not having to have separate stock.
