What about the men in the air force? If this is about equality shouldn't there be both? Men and women are both recognized for their work in the military and it is never about gender. It's only about gender when it's a female being recognized. I understand the Air Force being there to support her, but why only females? Why isn't there a celebration like this ever when a movie is made about a real hero who did real things and sacrificed so much, no matter the gender. This is an actress being given this much support when she herself didn't learn to fly a plane, was never in a military service, and did a mediocre acting job at best in the film. In fact, hardly any training at all would've been necessary for her to "pretend" to be flying an airplane. It's all a publicity stunt for an agenda. Everyone appreciates those women and what they do in the air force, but it's not like women in the air force are being underappreciated. There's no such thing as a celebration for men in the air force. If you feel like they're not being recognized, its because only 16 percent of enlisted military members are women, and 18 percent are men. Of course you're going to see more men in military movies and roles than women. It's not sexist, it's a fact that there are far less women in military service. The same way that people complain they need more racial diversity in movies, when, for example, only 13 percent of Americans are black, and the majority are white. Like I said, I have the utmost respect for ALL Military service members, no matter what's between their legs. It just sucks when there's so much celebration for no reason other than what's between there legs, when there are people like Marcus Luttrell get nowhere near the recognition she got yet he gave so much for his country it's impossible to imagine. So sure, it's nice to see women being recognized for their work in the Air Force, just keep in mind the only reason for their recognition is because of a political agenda, and not their actual work.
I’m so confused as to why people hate her ? Seen it more than once. And for me, that’s saying a lot. Besides, a lot of those other superheroes have male lead as their love interest to back them up. This movie does not. The male lead, Fury becomes her best friend. This movie is amazing. And her friendship with Rambeau: friendship goals. i think I’ve never seen that in any MCU’s movies. Having friends like sisters. True, but in most cases those people prefer working behind the scenes and not being in the spotlight. Kenjong Mendez the movie might be the best movie ever made, its just that people do not want to support an actress that is unapologetically racist towards white guys. Just curious. There were storm, jean, rogue, logan' daughter, black widow, ans quite a few overwhelmingly strong women. Is it because none of them got to have their name as the title of the movie that these comments came up? Really, no offense, just curious :)

Reviews are good, the sites with general public rates are the ones low just cause the hate campaign against Brie and the sansationalists yt channels influencing sheeple saying things like "alita is better, go see her the day of captain marvel release instead", when they only say that to tank CM (seriously, i just looked 3 channels who were recently created, uploading just videos about Brie and the "issue", not any prior content nor reviews, talking like critics when they arent, they got a ton of subscribers on that little time, seems pretty suspicious. Really make it seems that people want to ride the hate hype wagon and take advantage of the situation, given theres too many easily manipulable people. An agenda against another). @@elenavanderwoodsen9783: There are reports that some of the other Marvel actors are not too happy with the current direction & choice of actress. They've all invested alot. And worry about the future of the franchise with the association of Brie Larson alienating the Male fans.
@@247tubefan Obviously some of the other actors will be upset on the inside just like they probably were when black panther or spiderman joined MCU and got solo movies but after a while they will get over it. The thing about alienating male audiences ,well it would be a shame on part of the male audience .If I as a female can enjoy these movies, 90 percent of which are male led then why can't men be welcoming towards one female superhero among countless other male superheroes.
@@elenavanderwoodsen9783: We can & do. We love Wonder Woman, Black Widow, Alita, Sigourney Weaver is the best. And the list is endless. All of them embrace there femininity. They are trying to be the best woman. Not trying to be the man.
i loved the movie! such a fun ride, brie larson is great
Thank god I'm in a sensical comments section.
Nice bro thanks!
@Tobby Isiba thank god for the mods, a statement I never thought I would say.
@Sound Logic no dude, you can be critical of the movie, what you can't do is attack her for her beliefs, and misinterpret what she is saying. Because that's literally every comment section on YT right now.
@Sound Logic oh yeah NOW is just "opposing opinions", when theres a hate campaign against Brie and her movie. "gO sEe AlItA" its what they chant everytime, as if they planned a facebook event to go against the captain marvel opening or something to "tank" it😂
Sorry, there are no excuses here
I don't know why some people hate her, she is an amazing person and I love her, she is doing a great job bringing captain marvel to live, my new superhero 💓💓💓
Dela Kim Yeahhh!!! I totally agree with you. For me, She is my new favorite superhero
@@FredBstar3K No. She does not. Your reading comprehension skills need work. The problem lies with you. You need to learn how to read properly. I'll give you a hint. @@PennyDreadful2024 i am so happy after reading your comment
So people really protect her 💕
Seen it more than once. Instantly became a fan of Brie Larson. ❤️ lots of love 💖
Hopefully, after WW and Captain Marvel, there would be more Superheroine movies
Black Widow id going to have a movie :D
Alita Battle Angel is another great movie.
So we will just ignore the Underworld movies, Alien movies the Hungry Games movies and so on. I like Wonder Woman. But there are a lot of other movies with lead female roles that came before those two movies.
You can't ignore them.
@@RC-qu8xg people on the left want you to ignore that movie.
Delain124 Lol Idgaf about anyone else's perceptions. I watch what I want and like.
I wish these shows would start interviewing other people involved in the filmmaking process. Let's give editors or sound mixers some shine
Animators and CG artists too man. Some of the people I know are working overtime on weekends rushing Endgame.
True, but in most cases those people prefer working behind the scenes and not being in the spotlight. Also for the viewerbase of a show like this it would probably be boring to listen to an editor instead of the lead actress. Good thing Marvel forces you to sit through the credits for end credit scenes. Brings more focus to everyone who worked on the movie.
@@illuwe this is true. I'm in film school and every editor and others would rather never be in front of a camera lol. I want to do production design and i know I wouldnt be able to handle interviews like these

Alright, don't turn him gay now
what I love about Brie is that she really researched about the Character, even mentioning on some interviews about the history of the character... which I believe some other MCU actors didn't do...mad respect for Brie!
Brie Larson is amazing fantastic as Captain Marvel
I like Brie...she's very talented and so cute...but I got to be honest..I'm not crazy about that outfit today.
Can't wait to see this on Friday!!

I really love how she carries herself. She's one to look up to. 😍 everything is just right, her clothes, her smile, her gestures, her personality. 😍

Amos Stubbs something else?

Sure. Even though you haven’t seen the movie yet. That’s a realistic opinion to have.
@@dirgramsey6132 believe the hype soy boy.
Why's she dressed like a man?
I live in Asia, Philippines. the movie premiered earlier than US, and the funny thing is no one here knows about the controversies about this movie and honestly most of all the viewers with me last night enjoyed the movie so much, men and women. Casual moviegoers, MCU fans, as well as DC fans, majority of them loved it. after checking about the reviews and discussion in youtube, I was surprised that people hated it more because of the controversies behind it and not about the actual film, and most o t he people hated it haven't even seen the movie yet.
Kenjong Mendez well to be fair, she was not hating on Philippine dudes, just white western men. If she would have said we need more black people in Philippine because it is not diverse enough. I am sure you wouldn’t like her either.
Jesus Gonzalez thats the point. This controversies and hate for her only exist in America. Rest of the world didn't even know and just watched it. Majority of the audience in my cinema and reviews from my friends on social media loved it. It means, if without the controversies, people would appreciated it and not being braimwashed by negative reviews from reviewers
Kenjong Mendez the movie might be the best movie ever made, its just that people do not want to support an actress that is unapologetically racist towards white guys. I am hispanic and I don’t blame them. Imagine if she had directed her comments toward asian men, would you still want to watch the movie?
@@jesusito4321 I get your point. it definitely affected their marketing, discouraging the audience but to those who simply disliked it and claiming it to be the worst are just simply wanting the movie to fail which is sad. but yes, you got a point there.
@@jesusito4321 she discouraged nobody. Please I respectfully request you to see the interview before making up your mind. Thank you.
I hope she never looks at any of this stuff online. Nobody needs to see hate like that. She obviously worked hard for this movie and I’m excited to see it!
I want to make "The Defenders" of Brie Larson. I've watched Captain Marvel in cinema and my opinion is that this film is marvelous. Also I searched, read and viewed a lot about Brie Larson because I love her and I didn't know a lot about her. And I collided with aimless spitting, hate and malicious attacks on Brie Larson. As I said I read, watched and viewed a lot about Brie, but didn't find anything evil, racist, sexist, "hates white men", destroying the MCU etc.
I like Brie Larson as an actor, woman and person and I'm sorry for her and for all that negative energy targeted on her. And finally I want to tell to all haters, trolls and villains out there that I and everyone that likes Brie Larson will blast you with Photon Nova, even if we are less than you.
People always find bullshit ways to hate Brie even tho she did absolutely nothing wrong.
Just curious. There were storm, jean, rogue, logan' daughter, black widow, ans quite a few overwhelmingly strong women. Is it because none of them got to have their name as the title of the movie that these comments came up? Really, no offense, just curious :)
DAMN HER OUTFITTTT OMG ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's so amazing that young girl wears Captain Marvel Suits😍
Brie is Cool& Sassy. We are know this movie is amazing and powerful.
Being sassy is such a dislikeable trait
This. This is why this movie's important.
As someone who REALLY loves the MCU, please know that I want this movie to be great. But those reviews sure aren’t helping....
the movie is awesome.. saw it last night and it doesn't do the trailers justice.. it's so much more trust me (also for y'all haters yes I'm white and yes I'm a dude)
I have seen it and its good.. My advice, don't trust the haters
Just saw the movie. It wasn’t terrible, but it could’ve been a lot better.
But, They are pretty much irrelevant when we talk about the quality of the movie, which is good. Not perfect, but it does fit like any other good mcu movie, like doctor strange. And you gonna love it as an mcu fan
the reviews are from trolls and they'd hate the movie even it was the best done ever, simply because the lead is female, especially since she's ''threatening'' their favorite dude by potentially being the strongest new character in the MCU
I love how real and down to earth she is.
Hahaha
I love the movie😍
Damn..I’m not a big softy, but....... I can’t help but smile when she smiles.
Her smile In King Kong haunted in my mind. I can still see that. So gorgeous.
yes! she has a duality of strength and vulnerability that is so beautiful to me
she's pretty down to earth for a major hollywood actor
Brie has the warmth of a temp job supervisor and possesses the sex appeal of an unsigned, ten-dollar check from grandma.
I love Brie so much, she's amazing and perfect as Captain Marvel
We love Brie for her whole being! She is beyond all naysayers in her talent and heart!

Love her and the movie! But did Michael Strahan say "How are you doing baby?" to her???

Brie's dark sarcasm makes her misunderstood. She is cool and dedicated though!
She’s sooo lovely in this interview, i’m so excited for her in avengers end game
I like when Brie Larson wears the blue outfit
Before I went to the cinema, I didn't expect much. But during the movie, I almost cried, like these scenes PPL keep telling you, you can't do this do that, but no matter how hard she fell, she always stood up and kept going. I think Brie did great job to express this vulnerable yet strong, never-give-up super hero figure. Unlike wonder woman, too much sexiness, especially for the male audiences?
Can not wait to see this movie. This will be a movie about over coming against all odds , pushing herself at the best her inner abilities. To dig in deep and see what your about. Her personality is just right. This is her first introduction as well as seeing her appearance in Endgame.
It’s her growth as Captain Marvel that WILL change peoples perception of her, guaranteed.

The Marvel cast I hear hate it and she doesn't deserve it and shes gonna mess up the future of the mcu
Oh please. Chris Evans makes WAYYYYY less money than Robert Downy and Robert only has to do cgi stuff a lot of the time while Evans has to work his ass off lol.
