how far is this waterton lakes from Banff ? the best option to get there ??? any advise ?

Waterton is completely on the southern end. It takes 3.5 hrs from Calgary downtown. Where as Banff is in Northwest from Calgary and takes 1.5 hrs from calgary downtown
