Butterflies in 4K Ultra HD

- You may have seen butterflies before, but have you really paid attention to them? They are fascinating! This is a short film by Phoenix, Arizona Director of Photography Curt Pair. All of these images were captured in beautiful 5K resolution with a Red Epic, Fuji Cabrio lenses, Bright Tangerine Matteboxes and Hoodman Sunshades.
It was edited in true 4K resolution with Adobe Premiere CC with a Matrox Mojito 4K card.
If you have the ability to view this in 4K, please change your "setting" in the monitor set up to "original."

Yes. We have a Red Epic. We used Fuji Cabrio PL mount zoom lenses too: 19-90mm and 85-300mm. The project was edited in Adobe Premiere.
The tight depth of focus with 4K can sometimes take the edge off macro shots. Colour, sharpness and contrast here tends to offset that problem somewhat.
Nice Job, your right the shots are awesome. Did you use your cabrio glass?

@ MotavisionHD... Yup Red Epic. Shot in "full frame 5K", then edited and output in 4K resolution.

360p is not 4K!
I think you need to adjust your 'settings' in your playback window! It offers 360p, 720p, 1080p AND "ORIGINAL!" The Original IS the 4K resolution. How to view it in 4K resolution is even listed in the description!
It's an honest mistake on your part, no biggie.
Matt, I own BOTH Cabrios. The majority of this was shot with the 85-300! Wow is that lens nice and sharp! I wasn't sure about it in the beginning, but now, I LOVE IT! It's my "go to" 'interview' lens for sure! I've had the 19-90 since last September, and picked up the 85-300 in January! I feel these two are as optically strong as even Ultra Primes. I've mixed both well. (Can't afford Masters!) I shoot with these almost exclusively. PM me and we can discuss rates! You'll LOVE them!
