One of the most irritating things about UA-cam is reading the commentary. This man goes out of his way to build a boat to the best of his ability. Then the experts come out of the woodwork and have a comment about everything. You could have done it this way you could have done it that way. Meanwhile they probably never built anything in their lives a lot of dreamers out there with no money. They want to buy everything and they want to know how much everything cost but they don't have any money to buy it. They don't even know what part of the world it's located in. It could be 6,000 miles away from their homes They don't even take that into consideration about how much it's going to take to ship the item. Today location no common sense anybody who has the money and wants a custom boat all they have to do is find the shop in their area and have one made if they have all that cash then it should not be a problem.

This guy did a fantastic project, and made a very good video doing it. He made it look simple, quick, and easy. This guy is very skilled, and has the imagination it takes to devlope a project and see it through.

Armchair quarterbacks, that one I never heard before. The one that I've been using my entire life has been "Sidewalk Supervisors" as so many times I would see a group of men working busting their ass and then somebody would come over and start to give them advice. Like they really want to hear it.

Great job! Love the way you cut the plywood almost by eye, to produce a hull profile that just works so well.
A couple of safety concerns, though..
1. that fuel tank? If it comes adrift or splits, you might just incinerate.
2. The steering arrangement needs some extra cable unions.. if one let go while at speed you could get flipped pretty quick.
The engine seems to be operating at a good temperature, but you should probably check the temp. of the water at the outlet. If too cold, your motor won't last. Regulating the temperature is easy on a system like this: if running too cold, restrict the outlet to slow water flow through the block. If running too hot, install a small scoop at the inlet to help force water through the block. Adjust the scoop size until you get the outlet temp you want.
I hope I don't sound nit-picky... because your build is great, I am so impressed (and inspired... I have a Jag XJ6 motor I'm wondering what do with). I'd just like to see it even better: reliable and safe.
isnt the actual temp of the cyl head what matters? for an outboard (2 stroke anyway), indicator water temp means absolutely nothing.

Another great build! What is the red coating painted onto the wood? I want to build a boat using this type construction and I like how the wood releases from the fiberglass.
I put a layer of wax nonstick on the wood and then applied a red gelcoat polish

This is amazing to see how you built the boat. I don't know how fast it will go. It looks like a good boat for shallow water. However, being a boat captain myself, I can see a lot of disadvantages to this boat. I don't see any cleats on the boat. What if you wanted to tie up or anchor? What if you needed to give another boat a tow. How do you walk around in the stern? It looks like you need a excavator to put it in the water. It doesn't look like you could pick it up with davids. What if you needed to get a tow from another boat? How would you do that? Anyway thanks for making the video. I enjoyed watching it.
In vietnam, towing a trailer is not allowed on cars, unlike in Australia . It has to be on semi trucks. It sucks and makes no sense.
I agree. I am a boat captain my self. I saw a lot wrong with that boat. You saw even more, Let's face it, That boat is interesting, but it is not a great boat. There is plenty wrong with it.

1)blob on the steering wheel.
2) Trolley for transporting the boat to the riverside.
3) visor in front of the dashboard.
4) Outboard engine available especially for such boats.
