Jiyan is one stoic and mature character I have a hard time dealing with. I've always chosen the most ridiculous reply on Rover just to get a reaction out of him, and he still answered with seriousness. It's kinda a love-hate relationship I had with him. I admire his strength but I can't deal his seriousness 😂 Then this scene comes out, I finally have a closure. He's just naturally like that. No matter how dumb the reply chosen on Rover, he will never treat it lightly. He's someone who treats everything with care and will see a person as his equal, not as a joke. Had a whole character development in me and it was pretty wild on a 2D character. Btw, I picked the male rover, and I still ship them during this scene 😭❤

And that photo after cleared the companion mission made it even worse. Such a nice gentleman. Even if there are lots of handsome guys release in the future, they will only receive my appreciation. On WuWa, my heart remain with him. Damn you Jiyan.

Keep in mind later that the picture you get for this companion quest is very different for male and female rover. Female Rover is made to be a bit more romanitc with Jiyan protecting Female Rover. Male Rover is made a bit more in comedy because Jiyan is holding a monster in his hand while both Male Rover and him stare it as it goes on a "fight me" face at them.

Overall Wuthering Waves is much more visually appealing than Genshin Impact. Idk about others like gameplay or lore or writing, depth of WuWa so I cannot tell which game is better (I only play Genshin Impact). But I still love and adore Genshin Impact much more because it doesn't doom my computer the moment I start the game like WuWa ☠ Also about this it's true that picking female Rover would be better/more comfortable in this scenes, it's fair tho since male Rover also get a lot of scene with girls (kinda romantic sometimes), and pick male Rover in those scene would be much better too.
