"This guy's coming for me. This guy's coming for me! He doesn't act like he's excited, he's in stealth mode, he has a poker face!" For some reason that had me laughing out loud. Another great video, Adam!
Thank you Adam! I'm glad you went ahead with the ride through because now this bit of Disney history will live on in your vlog! This is the first I heard of them closing this ride and I won't be able to get there until the 25th of this month. We went on this ride once and haven't been able to get our son on it again. 😔
The first casualty of Radiator Springs. Since you are in OC, you should check out the Great Park in Irvine. There's a hot air balloon there. If you are on a budget, you should try chicken pie shop on La Palma and Euclid in Anaheim. There's also Camelot mini golf course in Anaheim. Garden Grove has their own Main Street. It's small, but there's a Mexican restaurant thats dedicated to Elvis. And theres a Pasty shop in cypress on Katella.
i kinda saw this coming, the line was always pretty quick and the ride is sort of frustrating. its even hard to watch people struggle trying to make the ride do what they want. thanks for the heads up!
I guess it's a good thing I went to California last summer. I would have missed out on this ride I was interested in. It was my first trip too, and I probably won't be going again for many years.
Great Vlog Adam! Luigi's Flying Tires. Waaay back in the 1960's a similar ride was located in Tomorrowland . It wad called "The Flying Saucers". We were in the middle of The Red Scare and alien invasion. Although the tech. has advanced the ride worked on the same principal of air, leaning etc. It too went away. Probably sent to N. Kruesheve in Moscow to make-up for his nixed Disney visit.
loved that! Now that ride is just my speed. and believe i actually leaned with you! your videos are so much fun! that would be a great ride for Dollywood! hope it got sold to someone and does not sit in a ride graveyard.
Thank you for doing a rope drop video of DCA. A different voice for DCA that announces the rope drop. I think I have seen an interview with the two Disney announcers. Flying Saucers from 1961 to 1966. Flying Tires 2012 to 2015. I hope DCA keeps the queue area of Luigi's Flying Tires as it is very well done.
The ride will be replaced by Luigi's Festival of Dance, it is a trackless system type; f ride like the in Tokyo Disneyland's "Autopia". And in some other Disney parks around the world.
Oh man! I never even thought about DCA having a rope drop. I loved it. I heard that the flying tires were going to close a few months ago. They were donating the hats for that ride at a local thrift store. Its sad that the Flying Saucers back at Disneyland and now this one just cant seem to work right. It looks like the concept art is going to be more like bumper cars when they reopen. What do you think they will bring next for the new attraction?
Thanks for showing this. Yeah, I saw that ride when we were there shortly after Radiator Springs opened. Meh, it looked boring then, and it was stupid crowded! I can see why it's going, I remember all of the fanfaire ("It's a re-imagining of the old flying saucers!", etc.). I dunno, looks boring to me, but thanks for sharing!
Two things Adam, 1 was that Andre the Giants son at 4.07 and 2 did you shoot some of this vlog on a unicycle, that's some majestic body motion going on there. Sorry man it's a late comment but I'm going through the Woo back catalogue
Those flying tires are the new version of the "Flying Saucers" in Disneyland Tomorrow land in the early to mid 1960s., way before your time Adam. They worked on a vacuum and they moved by leaning in the direction. Wow the past is repeating. I rode those saucers in Disneyland.
I never grew up near disney.but i did live near ceder point, i remember the avalanche run, and how they built a structure around the coaster and called it something else. Now i think even that is gone.
I am very sad to see the Tires go. I didn't even get to go on them! Well, the ride it was inspired by, Disneyland's Flying Saucers, experienced the same issues that Luigi's did. But wait, if people complained that the ride was hard to operate, isn't that a joystick on the tire at 12:05?
I would like to see you go to the Hollywood sign, i have seen it lots of times on pictures from far away, but i would like to see it up close, if it's at all possible.
Darnit!!! I went last month on the 30th never grabbed a map and we played looked all over the place for that ride my little brother wanted to ride so bad and we never found it!!!!!
+Gameing Bull don't cry, they are making it better, instead of tires, they'll be cars see for yourself i1.wp.com/bitcast-a-sm.bitgravity.com/slashfilm/wp/wp-content/images/ZZ270166DE.jpg
Why is disney land/disney world getting rid of 'Luigi's Flying Tires' for ? I thought that ride was meant to stay permanent, cause it's part of 'Cars Land'
Dude I love your video's. You say You love to go to movie locations! Well I live in the cold and dry state of Colorado, there in the little town of Antonito located in the far side of southern Colorado. Is the house where the filmed the beginning of'' Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade''. It is awesome I have been there, and I definitely think it is a great place for you to have a filming location video there. It really feels legendary to be in the same house the Sean Connery, River Phoenix, Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg, and George Lucas were in. You yourself Mr. The Woo seem like an Indiana Jones man, and would love to have and adventure were the most iconic adventurer spent his child hood.
I sure got "tired" watching this video, MR WOO; I bet you couldn't do a marathon ride, all day on Luigi's tires... do it, do it! show miguel, pls, pls- super fun, sooo jealous, sooo jealous, being in the snow belt and all, is michael jacksons home nearby??
It looked ... Cute, I guess. But it looked extremely slow & just generally not that fun. Maybe when the ride was full? Idk I haven't been there so I can't really say much.
+logan kerr I heard that DCA wasn't happy with the load times, people kept tripping over the outer tire/car and the operation of the ride itself. A cast member told us last month that it's being replaced with something with a track system.
The cast members indicated that the cue and the structure (which I assumed included the leaning tower of tires) will stay. The construction fence ran around the back area of the attraction...
Luigi's flying tires closing?!?! Another upgrade?!?! :( Can't they just leave things alone..I rode the tires, was fun, saw nothing wrong with the ride, honestly
The ride was a tripping hazard for people entering and exiting the tire. Slow loading and unloading. Not a big crowd turner like say little mermaid or haunted mansion where there are a lot of people riding per hour.
Quite honestly, when I saw people riding this (at the time), I didn't see anyone tripping on it. Wish they could keep the ride to pay homage to the "Flying Saucers" ride that WAS in Disneyland....but oh well, people at Disney will be changing it and will take them a whole entire year to switch it up I guess....:/
Ha! Was on the ride with you this morning. It was fun to recap my Disney visit this morning. Thank you for sharing.
"This guy's coming for me. This guy's coming for me! He doesn't act like he's excited, he's in stealth mode, he has a poker face!" For some reason that had me laughing out loud. Another great video, Adam!

Sad to see a ride closing but I guess that means something new is on the way.
Thanks for taking us all on a ride, it looked like a lot of fun
Thanks for the fun,Adam! I haven't been there yet so that was really cool of you to bring out the inner kid in me today. Have a great day!

Always look forward to your blogs. Have a blessed day stay safe and take care

They're married actually. The Disneyland announcer and the DCA annoucer.
Thank you! That is a great fun fact! :)
Really enjoyed this one Adam. It looked like a lot of fun. Made me wish I was there.
The ride will be replaced by Luigi's Festival of Dance, it is a trackless system type; f ride like the in Tokyo Disneyland's "Autopia". And in some other Disney parks around the world.
LOL That voice over lady made me think of the Purge.

I felt just as if I was there, I can feel the rush of your excitement.
This looks really cool! I wounder why they would close it. It is not that old.
Thanks for sharing.

Great vlog, nice job.
Two things Adam, 1 was that Andre the Giants son at 4.07 and 2 did you shoot some of this vlog on a unicycle, that's some majestic body motion going on there. Sorry man it's a late comment but I'm going through the Woo back catalogue
Sent a sort of housewarming gift to the po box yesterday hope it makes it. Enjoy California!

Is this attraction based off the Flying Saucers from Tomorrowland? I'm pretty sure that is what they were called
Yep! They tried to bring it back with modern technology
Ben Lawrence To bad this ride came and went as quickly as did the Flying Saucers in Tomorrow Land back in the 60's
+Geeker1982 its not going away, they jus are replcing tires, see

Yeah, I heard about Luigi's shutting down from the guys at Theme Park Review. Anxious to know what will be replacing it!
leave it upside down! That was awesome!
Oh it's like the old flying saucers that used to be at Disneyland! Sweet!
Lovin' the Woo!
That was not a miniature tow mater in that fake petting zoo space. That was a tractor that acts like a cow in the movies... geez
I never got to try this ride :( Looks awesome. I hope something even cooler replaces it!
I am mad i loved this ride
I would like to see you go to the Hollywood sign, i have seen it lots of times on pictures from far away, but i would like to see it up close, if it's at all possible.
Fresh Baked Disney did a vlog from Radiator Springs Racers and Luigis Flying Tires on youtube!
Wow that ride is short.
The beach ball thing looked so fun though i saw a short clip on it
Hey man. Hope all is well with you. Do you like the band Ween?
I'd love to see a walk through of the whole Cars Land!
this will be the Last Daily woo that I will be watching when i'm 20!
Thank you!
logan kerr Happy Birthday Logan.
^Thank you very much!
Very welcone
the replacement is about danceing cars
I love that place
Disneyland had something like this back in the 60's that had a UFO theme to it, using the same "air hockey" system
Darnit!!! I went last month on the 30th never grabbed a map and we played looked all over the place for that ride my little brother wanted to ride so bad and we never found it!!!!!
Nice job, Woo.
Rope drop. Or at Cedar Point, Security quickly grabs the rolling fences and runs.

Why is disney land/disney world getting rid of 'Luigi's Flying Tires' for ? I thought that ride was meant to stay permanent, cause it's part of 'Cars Land'
they are making it a roller coster
We always head for "Cars the Ride" first.
Luigi's was a parking lot before. NOTHING was there before carsland.

Love your videos, but please try to hold the camera a little more still. Make me dizzy watching. Keep up the amazing work!!!
It looks like it will be closing for a technical update :0)
last time i was here i wait 45m to ride this ride
That ride looks awfully expensive to maintain and run daily, no wonder it closed
How come you don't go to playlist live?? You are certainly worthy, I'll bet Louis Cole knows who you are...
I Remember That Ride...Now They Are Shutting It Down...*WHY*
yay
Actually I'm not happy!
HD VLOGS
Cool like giant air hockey
That pass thing they gave you looked like a planchette
dull ride. exciting video
This is sad news, we never got to ride this.
Looks a lot like Disney's Hollywood studios in Florida in a way?
How often do you go yo Disney ?
Did the Q get big later Adam? Cheers
I believe they original ride was Flying Saucers and it was in Tomorrowland. Got taken off, pretty much for the same reason. Slow and boring.
I sure got "tired" watching this video, MR WOO; I bet you couldn't do a marathon ride, all day on Luigi's tires... do it, do it! show miguel, pls, pls- super fun, sooo jealous, sooo jealous, being in the snow belt and all, is michael jacksons home nearby??
seems like all the other folks are vlogging too in the tires...narcissism persist in CA?
***** yes, I've watched this several x's, so sue me, MR WOO!!
love it too much!
Robe drop? there was a guy in back taking a selfie or vlogging.
that's cool its like a hovercraft and now I will not be able to ride it :(
Old fashion bumper cars are better.
It looked ... Cute, I guess. But it looked extremely slow & just generally not that fun. Maybe when the ride was full? Idk I haven't been there so I can't really say much.
Is this being sent to Walt Disney World?
Hi
Did you see that kid wave? 3:11
Still no video yet huh?
Wonder what was put in its place 🤔
I really liked that ride if it is the one from L.A. i will be sad
If it were here....people would be freezing their butts off Feb 7th.....lol . Gotta love Indiana weather
Why are they closing it down? not enough people? also, are they closing down all of Luigis? and not just the ride
+logan kerr I heard that DCA wasn't happy with the load times, people kept tripping over the outer tire/car and the operation of the ride itself. A cast member told us last month that it's being replaced with something with a track system.

***** ah, nice. At least they are keeping the tower
only person watching this remembering going to theme parks only worry bout being trampled by guess.
Thank God the ride ended, it SUCKED!!!!!
Cue on that f that
Kind of a dumb ride watching in 8/2021
making me nauseous moving camera around
yeah a tractor!!!!!!!
Luigi's flying tires closing?!?! Another upgrade?!?! :( Can't they just leave things alone..I rode the tires, was fun, saw nothing wrong with the ride, honestly

At least it won't be a Frozen ride.
Indeed, wouldn't make sense for that to go in Carsland. Lol
I thought--for sure--that Justin Scarred was going to run up on you like he's done before.
mindless fun
That’s a horrible thing
No one in the queue? I wonder why? This thing is lame. No wonder it's gone.
So nerdy it's making me cringe when people are right next to you!!! Arrrr
