For a long time their jeans were the only ones that fit (cuz they are affiliated with American Eagle, right? No one else carried 00 in our area up until the last few years). So I had to get used to the smell, lighting, and music. Advil beforehand helped 😂

yep hollister is actually good quality. their stuff always washes well and lasts..(with the exception of anything that’s “plush” cuz it doesn’t wash well and will pill). their winter jackets are amazing!
Yeah hollister is pretty generous in their sizes. I am a size 5 in hollister jeans and even those are sometimes a big too big. Their sweaters are so big and comfy too. I love it
I will vouch that I wear the same size as you in most things. I never though the Hollister would fit me especially in jeans, but I got a pair of their boyfriend fit in either 15 or 16's and they fit like a dream (if you're looking for skinny's) I'd give those a try. Hollister is one of my fav stores. I’m small but still a little chubby some days and I find it relatively easy to find clothes for me that make me feel confident. Some of my friends with different styles than me also find thinks that they love there
I do understand the thought behind the Will It Fit series. It's nice to know if plus size people can fit in to some oversized items. But half of me feels like... why do we even want to support these companies that don't want us to fit into or wear their clothing? They don't make clothes for us, they don't want us as customers. And that makes me not want them.

Social situations like that can really make you feel isolated and self-conscious, especially if you are around smaller-sized friends or/and are younger. But I get the other side of things, you shouldn’t feel like the dirt secret of a store. Even H&M, that’s FINALLY doing plus size, is limited in the clothing and some stores still don’t carry it!! (Such as mine).
I completely agree.. but I also carry that insecurity from middle school and high school where all my friends could shop at places like Hollister because they were skinny and I never could.. and now as an adult ,the idea of shopping there almost satisfies that old desire to fit in? Still don't own anything from Hollister though haha

If your in the US one store I liked who have both sizes was Cato's they used to have a lot of cute stuff. I was in there at the beginning of fall and loved there stuff.
I wish I'd known about youtube channels like this when I was chunky as a kid because I had no idea how to dress in things that would be flattering. I'm a lot smaller now but I really appreciate this channel and watch it for the entertainment and personality. I think everyone should have clothes that fit them and make them feel good, at any size. That certainly would have helped my self esteem in middle school lol.
