tbf the technology has not changed much from back then compared to nowadays rackets. Most of them are just buzzwords from the manufacturers without adding any significant improve on the performance. I did have lots of fun using an old Yonex Carbonex from a friend of mine.
You have great skill, it's a joy to watch.

It depends on the racket. Back in the day I used Yonex Voltric. Nowadays after using Astrox, going back to my old Voltric feels so slow and sluggish. On the other hand, my Armortec still feels decent.

Yet their technology didnt change but their idea of making a racket is like 20 years away from other just look at their racket like astrox 100zz nanoflare 1000z duora z strike or nanoflare 800 pro most of the athletes use it so yonex know what they are doing

I miss the rackets from those days.. still prefer oval shaped frames over isometric. Don't care about the extra sweet spot ! Miss the Carbonex series 21/21sp/23 and also used to own Carlton's Aerogear FX and Airblade (Rasmussen and another model) series. I do indeed remember trying Yonex Armotec and Muscle Power series rackets owned by my Indonesian friends, preferred head heavy-stiff shaft models. Sadly, I have forgotten a lot of old model names...good to reminisce
