Your comment on buying a used car cost as much as a new car is misleading, if you are talking about a used Benz s class of a few years old in comparing to a new Mazda 3 then you are right, but you can't compare Apple to orange. Hope you will settle down in a new country
Your's hatchback as a friendly reminder to make sure U pay attention the clearance of the height after back up been parked (piping or exhausted fan from indoor parking) ! Might be a good idea to modify lower a bit of max height of trunk opening. U might scratched or even broken back window (esp Aberdeen center in Richmond) if not paying attention before press the trunk opening inside vehicle. Lots of hatchback drivers make this accident because not paying attention.
For the first 6 years, you will see gradual reduction every year, after 6 years, with good clean records (no traffic violations, no at fault accident), insurance could dropped down to $1500 yearly
Congratulation.. Now you have entered a new phase of your life.. You will find you are free to live, work & visit in a place you want. Also you might save $$ from renting an expensive place close to public transport and your chance of employment will be enhanced. I wonder how much you can save by driving a hybrid car with option of petrol and battery of your choice. Do you have lot of recharge station in Vancouver to make it work? We hardly have any recharge station here in Sydney, Australia where I live. I am actually thinking of changing switching mt petrol car to a hybrid as I have solar panels on the roof of my house which I can recharge my car in the weekend for free.

@@nicolehch thank you! Let me answer you here first :) It is quite hard for new comers to do leasing or financing here as we do not have so much supporting to provide…. Usually they require credit report & job contract details & bank statements etc to determine whether you are able to afford the car or not. So I was suggested to provide down payment to secure the car to make sure my application will be approved~ for the wait time, depends on what kind of model you want! Such as for RAV4 model, at least one year and hybrid model even longer… I think at least 3-6 months for normal cars~ my suggestion is to pay the deposit first if you have interested car brand or model, if someone abandoned their order then you may have chance to take over🙌🏻 hope it helps !
Why would any one buy this small tiny unpractical overpriced car in Canada. Get something like nx instead. You do know that the ux is essentially a luxury version of the Prius.

@@elislamm 你有兩個選擇, 一係雪軚 (snow tire), 二係ALL Weather. ALL Weather 可以全年都唔使換, 雪呔就4月要換返All season,因為雪軚如果夏天揸好快會蝕,同埋雪軚係雨水地下係冇All season咁好.但係價錢雪軚就平過All Weather. Costco買軚比較平如果你有membership.

係地牢,show room內(唔夠光猛), 唔好收車簽字, 在室外光猛地方好d! 在本那比[喜歡]本田有一華人中伏, 好慘! 十幾年前內地華人, 在果度地牢選車, 大意冇睇清楚, 取車回家細看, 司機席前全部装飾襯墊, 不吻合, 歪零歪秤, 真眼冤! 回去投訴, 不退錢不換車, 投訴BC消委会冇用, 再投訴US honda(架車美國做), 都不成功!

那要看開部車多少年了，那部Nissan Qashqai是made in Japan, 應該唔差, Lexus UX250h售價和這部Nissan也相差不少, 不過Lexus耐用性係好過一些牌子, 現在的新車過多電子化, 所以有問題時, 如果過左原廠保養期, 維修亦會很貴。

UX is not that bad, it is the only Lexus that can use regular gas.
Its save alot on fuel
Prius is not fully comparable to UX. For example, UX has higher ground clearance, Prius 120hp vs UX 180hp, etc.

IS , NX 都比不上同級歐洲車例如 C class ,3 series , X3 等對手，而價錢卻差不多。
