I remember pestering my neighbor playing this on his Sega Genesis lol. This, Mortal Kombat games and Streets Of Rage are some of the memorable Sega games I've ever played
I beat the SNES version, and now practicing the Genesis version. I like both because the SNES port has a first person view and I like the music, while the Genesis port gives you a choice of 3 vehicles and a little bit more difficulty.
That's because the old CRT TVs showed a blurry picture. Now you’re watching the game in HD resolution and see all the details, but the game does not have so much detail!
Even though Nancy sounds like Patty & Selma during the briefing, this is a pretty decent port of the classic Taito arcade game. It's no frills, fast action that wears its era on its sleeve as it attempts to steal the crown from OutRun.
@Commander Spock Boxed copies perhaps, but loose can still be had for far cheaper. Mind you it's higher in price than it was a year or two ago, and it's not that great of a Taito Genesis game, but it's only $200 because people stupidly pay that amount for games, and other sellers see it and raise their prices, because they know suckers are born every minute. There is a loose one for around $30 on Ebay right now. If I were buying games right now, that would be the copy I'd pick up. I kept putting off buying this game, and if there's no cheap ones next round, I'll write this game off as a loss, because it is not good enough of a game to even run for $30. Seems as though Taito games on the Genesis have universally gotten more pricier, I remember getting Cadash for cheap, and not long after, the game shot up in price.
It’s been 25 years playing Chase HQ II on the Sega Genesis. I remember playing Chase HQ II and beat the hi-score, and beat boss cars, way back in elementary school. I like it.
My elder sister played and completed the game on Genesis when I was a kid and I suggested that she should use appropriate cars for certain situations in the game from stages 1,2 and 4 with a Sports car, a 4 wheel drive for stage 3, and the final stage with a truck. From that moment on, I cuddled her with joy.

Pero el recuerdo mas lindo es que mi viejo llegaba de trabajar (a la madrugada, cansado) y me encontraba amanecido viciando frente a la TV, sin hacer ruido para no despertar a mi mamá y mi hermana. Mi viejo en vez de retarme o mandarme a dormir se ponia a jugar al sega conmigo un rato! Hoy con 32 años entiendo el lindo detalle que fue, le gustaban los juegos de autos, pero tambien le gustaba pasar tiempo conmigo. Nunca pude darle las gracias... Despues dicen que "son solo videojuegos" no es solo eso, guardan recuerdos muy lindos en la memoria de uno. Ademas de una epoca del gaming dorada♥
This was my favorite cop car chasing game ever. The third and final boss was always a pain in the ass. But I loved playing this game a lot. It drove my dad nuts to see me playing this lol.
I like it when the smoke comes outta the semi stacks when it goes fast. That cabover is cool. I don't see many of the real cabovers on the roads here in the USA anymore like I use to back in the 80s & down.
I never realized that the truck level was the last level of the game. You mean to tell me that I’ve almost beat this game and didn’t even realize it? I feel cheated!
hehehe i remember reaching the last stage and when I stopped the boss I was so happy I beat the game until I realized there was a 2nd phase. I lost of course but I played over and over again until I beat the game. It was so satisfying.
I actually live in Los Angeles where drugs are legal so it’s strange to see someone get pulled over for such a thing. Great Playing. It’s looks tough I might have to try it out

@NintendoComplete, This isn't technically an arcade port though, just a home console made sequel.
And like MacGyver, this was a well written piece of non-claptrap that never made me want to retch.
