Those smooth transitions between the costumes were amazing! This song is promising to be an amazing one although I'm kind of sad they seemed to have pushed Kaname to the back with Makina and Reina. This song is basically centered around Freyja and Mikumo's voices
Having heard the full version before it was pulled off YT, kaname has a full verse! It’s just the break up of the song is very non standard compared to older walküre songs.
@@SugaredEdits That makes me happy to hear! I get that Freyja and Mikumo are the main girls of Walkure, but Kaname has always been in a weird in between spot. She got to sing a lot more then Reina or Makina who got relegated to background singers, but not as much as Freyja or Mikumo. Even so I enjoy hearing her sing so I got sad thinking that they put her in the background for the movie.

she always gets that emotional slow break like in Won’t Betray. Same thing here so the one chorus version completely omits it lol
Besides, they’d be fools to shelve her back to minor harmony again, she’s one of the most popular macross characters!
Tho tbh i think more people do need to appreciate how hard MakiRei’s parts are. Having sung harmony myself, they’re working their butts off too to make the song sound right 😤
