Thanks I followed this and its very good. But I want my header to just be wording to pages on my site. It seems impossible to do that with this guide, also - when i publish, the layout is very different on a mobile device, it displays on mobile list as a list, like image at the top, then menu 1, then underneath menu 2, then underneath menu 3. Is there any way to change the way they are displayed on a mobile devices, most other blogs do not display in this poor way and means that a viewer needs to scroll down just to see the first part of the blog, the header displays too big on mobile device, any advice? thanks,

I have a question: how come you didn't create the footer by the same plugin? When I look through free Elementor's library of 'footer' plugins they're all PRO, so using just a section as footer is not the right approach. Am I correct on this? Hopefully you had saved the already designed header. If so, simply go back to dashboard, under settings open the header and footer builder, you'll see you already, header and blocks option. Make sure you assign your already created header it to display on the entire site.

Hello. I created the header, but it pushed everything on my page down and created a white bar. The white bar does not move with the header. The only way I can get rid of the white is to make the image that was pushed down have a large negative margin, but this does not fix the problem on pages with a sidebar as the content in that area is pushed down, as well.

Seems like you have to clear your website cache. If not this, then make sure you have set your footer to display sitewide under the footer template settings. Let me know if it works out. Best!

If you don't elementor pro and followed this tutorial, it should simply work. Make sure you have set you header to appear on your website (display condition) after creating it.

So in essence you'd either have to display the theme header OR the Elementor header (if the two aren't compatible) - i'm new to wordpress so hoping I'm wrong here but struggling with that part as well! :)

Yes, go to your dashboard and click on appearance. In the drop-down menu, click on the menu. You can decide what page to display from there.
Use is / on the link section for example /home to link home /contact for the contacts etc

Make sure you're using the elementor full width canvas. It's under settings > page layout

Yes, its very possible, but why would do such a thing? I would advise that you create both your headers in either elementor or in astra.
