It would be nice to see a demonstration of the sukashi when the leg is already hooked in, i.e. a late counter response as opposed to the early counter demonstrated here. Thanks for the content and the insights!
Thanks @leonvandersande🖐️

This is so insane! If you didn't show your tournament footage, I wouldn't believe it's legit! It looks like something straight out of John Wick! Thank you for this, I'll try to practice this when I get back into Jiu Jitsu.

Thank you for the video.
At the dojo where I train, near Yamagata, almost everybody is a lefty uchimata player. It is unreal !
My game plan is to grab them on both shoulders to keep them straight, lower their strong left arm and close in to go Ogoshi. Since I cannot do it right away, I have to mix in other technics to make them lose balance.
The biggest thing that shocks me at training is how people try to throw when the opponent isn't even unbalanced. That is the point I am working on ( to create Kuzushi ), and the point I see the most lacking during randori.
Cheers.
PS: it is always a pleasure to watch judo videos. Than you guys.

Thank you always Jongler🖐️
@@fluidjudojapan Time for a feedback :
People going for uchimata ( in kenka yotsu ), first step between my legs BEFORE going uchimata, as shown in another video on this channel. Nobody goes for uchimata straight like in this video, at least not where I train ( North Japan ). Uchimata sukashi is not so easily done.
I will go on trying it, but it needs more work on my part.
Happy judo everyone.
Good luck Jongler🖐️
is it possible to modify this for Nogi BJJ ?
Thanks Brynjar Fridriksson🖐️
I think it would be possible if the opponent tried to throw UCHIMATA with all their might.
@@fluidjudojapan thank you for a quick response :)!
