Thanks for this WBW an absolute fantastic tour. I'm baffled as to why the need for such magnificent architecture and design on a scale like this. What are we missing with all these cathedrals ?

Thanks for this. I took my wife and kids from our hometown of Houston to visit the state of Louisiana this past weekend. Our specific plans were to visit the biggest cathedrals and state buildings in Baton Rogue, Lafayette, New Orleans, and Houma. I was shocked on how many cathedrals are in New Orleans alone. Louisiana is filled with them I spotted 6 that I didn't know about just driving from city to city.

Thank you, I always think that the things we are so used to seeing in everyday life, sometimes pass us by. But when we take a moment to look at these things, It becomes obvious that they are not what we've been taught they are.
I appreciate your comments. Thank you.

Holy moly. PIPES, PIPES and more PIPES everywhere. On some, the outer rock has come off and you can see that the columns are all made of PIPES. What was that strange metal contraption that was bolted to the floor?? Please follow up on all of these and go into greater detal. Also, see if you can get footage of the basement, and even lower. If you're not Paul Cook, please get in touch with him. You're two peas in a pod.

    Majestic !
The tile patterns pertaining to each area inside would be connected to the original function of this cathedral ?

For an American, this is unreal in its beauty, complexity, esotericism and impact. I have lived my life wishing I could create that feeling or style at a very very limited scale at home. Modern architecture is empty

magneto-acoustic harvesting of electricity through the Organ before the suckers scuttled it.
    the primer was the chanting.

How old do you think this building is? The nonsense stories they feed us about these building's history is just ridiculous. The reason it's octagonal is because the Norman Bell tower collapsed and the dude who built this FLAWLESS masterpiece with no machine tools just happened to be a monk who lived nearby. And it's pure coincidence that its octagonal just like every other old world building even the ones that didn't get taken over by religions.

I think some of these structures are older than the historic records tell us, most were said to have been constructed roughly a thousand years ago, I think they are older, maybe a lot older.
      Thanks for your comments.
