- Whew! I am not complaining I'm just quite a bit overextended recently. One of my dealer clients had a long time friend that lives on the East Coast is purchasing a 2006 Country Coach Affinity from National Indoor RV Center in Las Vegas, NV. Due to unplanned life events, was not able to travel to see it before purchasing, so my friend asked if I would inspect it. So join me as I load up the 2001 Beaver Patriot Thunder as a mobile repair vehicle and travel to Las Vegas for an almost vacation but was really more of a 36 hour service call. Luckily, I was able to bring my daughter so it was a fun trip
Oh yeah, beside some notable damage, this 2006 Country Coach Affinity was in fantastic shape and well represented by the selling dealer. To say it has a unique paint scheme would be a drastic understatement.
I apologize if I took too much time explaining the situation.
Thanks for watching!
This is one of my favorite videos. A little of everything. Good production value too. Great job Dad!
Glad you enjoyed it!
We live in AZ near Prescott. How can we contact you? Can bring RV to you if need be.
Love the greens and yellow on the paint. Cheerful, reminds me of grass, like taking your lawn with you on a trip.
Thanks for watching! :)
Excellent walkthrough James. I Iike the no-fluff approach whereby you tell it and show it like it is, but also give really pertinent commentary. Well done sir.
Thanks Duncan!
ANY time you can spend time with ur daughter is not a working trip, its a pleasure cruise.
yes Sir, we help our friends wherever we can...it pays back in respect and friendship five fold.
Thanks for watching! :)
We bought a 2006 country coach as a “fixer upper” that had a small electrical fire. It’s in incredible condition! Not one crack, not one loose screw, but it did have water damage in the powder room! We repaneled the whole room to give it a cohesive look. Nothing was molded 👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome!
Of all the RV’s you’ve shown I think this may be my favorite.
Thanks for your inspections, honest commentary, and walkthroughs.
You're welcome
You sir a good man and true friend. And Impressive work ethic. Always enjoy and learn.
Thanks David
Came to the channel originally to do some research on epdm roof maintenance and i find myself back here looking at all the cool rigs and repairs. Oddly satisfying and entertaining. Keep it up
Thanks for watching! :)
Paid to spend time with your daughter is great. Thanks for the video, looks like a pretty nice rig. Almost Packer Green and Gold like you said. Be safe.
Thanks for watching! :)
Just found your channel and absolutely love it. Please tell your daughter she is a cutie and not to be so embarrassed when dad puts her on camera 😊
She will be embarrassed either way lol
Family time is the best. Thanks for the tour of such a unique CC James!
Our pleasure!
Great video James! Thank you for sharing and taking us along. Looked like a fun trip. :)
Glad you enjoyed it
I’ve always loved country coach. One of the best there was in the industry. Paint job is great too.
Agreed
Quality last for along time. Not my outside color. That could be changed. Thanks for your honesty. Father daughter time priceless 👍👍
Thanks for watching! :)
Another great video James which I really appreciate. I learn something new with each of your inspections. A delightful coach as long as you don’t mind wearing dark glasses 😎 for the exterior of the RV. It’s definitely not my choice of colors but, if it makes you happy then it’s just perfect 👍
You are a very good friend to know and I hope your friend know appreciates your kindness especially on a holiday weekend.
Sending you my best wishes from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 and, I will be over soon and likely will need your assistance when I buy my RV 😉⭐️💫
Thanks Lorrie!
what a beautiful couch.
Thanks for watching! :)
Taking a drive in your lovely RV sounds like 👍 a winner. This isn’t work to me but of course the Insperation is work. But enjoy Your Road Trip
Thanks for watching! :)
Wow to find a Country Coach 2006 in that great of a shape is amazing to me. Seems like many years ago Winnebago
found it much easer to buy out your compactor, so they did just that . Most of the companies was putting out products
that was way better and wound hold up a lot better. I can only guess this happens every day to many companies.
Loved the video and what a great motorhome EZ . Let me know if they do not buy this coach because I will ! ! !
Thanks Jeff!
Always interested in your Country Coach inspections for the fact I own one and find new to me, interesting things to pay attention to from a maintenance standpoint. Thank you!
Much agreed for the same reasons. Beautifully maintained coach about the same vintage as my own. I would suggest the biggest maintenance problems / look outs for the new owner would be updating the dry PTO to a wet system and switching from the Danfoss fan controller to the more reliable thermal wax valve kit, confirming the brakes are in good shape and the HWH suspension too..Otherwise that coach with the updates @AZ Expert suggests will continue for many years to be the darling of the rv/coach park.
Glad you find them useful
I’m not big on motor coaches. I have my bus. That is spectacular. Glad you and your daughter had good trip. She’s got your sense of humor lol
Poor Kid. hahaha
Nice Affinity. Thanks for the tour. Happy trails!
Thanks for watching!! :)
Quality time with your daughter! Priceless!
Thanks for watching! :)
Nice RV. Glad to see you spending time with your daughter.

Thank you, I will
Love all your videos
Thanks Brian!
That’s really nice from you to do that to your friend
:)
Great video as always. Country Coach really made a good RV.
Thanks Duane!
Godspeed my friend.
Another great RV video.
Very enjoyable, drove buses many years, many years ago. Fun to see what's possible.
Glad you enjoyed it
Jet noise courtesy of Nellis AFB!! Loving the Country Coaches!!
Thanks for watching! :)
Nice coach ... glad to see the kid traveling with Dad ... some of my best memories are camping trip with mine .... more road trips are needed (vacation) just a suggestion ....
Shes a great kid! I hope to be taking a lot more in the future
Busman's holiday! A Televator for the Featherlite BR TV upgrade? Boy, You could spot that Country Coach paint job from space!! Cheers!
Thanks for watching! :)
It’s called a busman’s holiday. A vacation during which one engages in activity similar to normal work. Helping a friend always has excellent returns
Thanks for watching! :)
Howdy James!! always enjoy your vids! You keep it real & honest!!
Thanks for watching! :)
Nice side job, and nice coach and anytime spent with kids is great.
Thanks for watching! :)
WOW what a crazy fun color. Im curious about the tires. Does the cracking on tires mean replace NOW. Mine have some cracking and tons of tread left and r 7 years old. Great video, I learn something every time
You could have an inspection, but cracking is definitely not a good thing--Dry rot
Yeah I ended up replacing all of them. Not going to worry about that. Thanks as always. Learning a lot
Great videos.
Thanks Vin!
Very nice CC! Trips like those are good work trips. Good run for your coach too!
Gotta keep it in use
Nice RV good show. 🇦🇺🇺🇸
Thanks for watching! :)

Thanks for watching! :)
Nice you had time with your daughter! Loved this video!

It's either "The Green Hornet", or needs a few John Deere logos.
Thanks for watching! :)

Another superb video from the Expert!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome…time with daughter…plus!!!
Thanks for watching! :)
NIDRV is probably one of the most respected rv places in the country, even the owner will respond to your questions and concerns. When was the last times did the owner of a company help out.
Another nice coach
Thanks for watching! :)
The only way to travel! Yeah, buddy enjoy the trip! Lucky sucker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching! :)
Beautiful coach, as usual I love learning about all the things you talk about in your videos. What sort of wash and wax do you recommend for the TPO roofs?
Might be a market to re-cap the front of these older more reliable no-DEF RV's and give them modern paint/updates. They are doing it with pre 2000 transport trucks with great success
I really enjoy the simplicity of the older units
For the table splits, I would(wood) fill with colored epoxy.
Thanks for watching! :)
really appreciate your content
Thanks for watching! :)
Is that wallboard in the bathroom showing mold growth in those bubbles? Or is that just something that occurs for different reason?
Really great to see these amazing motorhomes, keep em coming.
Thank You for a great video!
Thanks for watching! :)
Beautiful coach
Thanks for watching! :)
So nice! -- QUESTION -- With Beaver coaches, what are the exterior walls made off? You mentioned that the basement doors are aluminum but what is the side wall materials? They look to be in such pristine condition compared to this other brand called Alpha See Ya which has pimples all over it....
Nice coach
Thanks for watching! :)
❤️❤️ James, what year was the start of the light transition from incandescent to LED ?
Yes, that was a nice unit.
Are there no OHSA rules for being up that high without fall protection? Seems to me that one time you turn and go to step ahead, your foot gets caught, you trip and fall, over the edge. Whose insurance would pay hospital fees, the 3rd party yard, or your employer? Simply curious and concerned for your safety is all, thanks for sharing excellent videos.
Thanks for looking out for me. My shop insurance would cover such a situation. Most RV parks and dealers require proof of insurance before allowing any work on their property. I try to be careful.
BRAVO🇺🇸THANKS
Thanks for watching! :)
The things we do for friends……..and money
I think you may appreciate this rv. Check out space craft MFG. They custom build 57' rv trailers and let me say these things are absolutely awesome 4 slides on 1 wall. Just crazy. And BTW, love watching your channel. Always look forward to new videos
Like ,like,like 👍
Thanks for watching! :)
Have you thought about a video on upgrading an older coach like yours to lithium batteries?
I hope you walk us through finding the drain on your batteries.
I will
You'd be nuts to not have one of these inspections done.
Maybe I'm nuts for driving 6 hours to do it
Bonjour il est vraiment magnifique ce Motorhome j'adore sa couleur extérieure il vraiment magnifique ce Motorhome il est vraiment trop trop beau il a un très bel intérieur ce Motorhome
MErci!
Where can I get one of those extendable ladders that you used in the video? Keep up the great work
Boy that motor on your rig sounds so strong. Love it.
It is!!
Love the channel. Is it possible, I know time is an issue. To quickly talk about construction of class a coaches and trailers a little more. R values. I can tell buy thickness of vents skylights as to an idea of r value. This coach had 6-8 inches from what I saw. Foam 3.5 inch maybe r20? heated tanks, placement of them, if u like construction. Is thier much difference in aluminum framing in higher end coaches,vs lower, ect.. just briefly.
Thanks !
Thanks for the suggestion
Toyota Prius’s are fantastic
They really are!
Beautiful what did they pay for it?
Military jets flying over? Show us!! : )
This was in Las Vegas
How do I know which lap sealant they used? You keep saying on your videos to use the same, how can you tell what kind they used in the factory?
You're a dedicated NUT!
cool.......
Thanks for watching! :)
I get it.😮
When you work the screws back in under that weather stripping on the window do you put any sealer or silicone under there to keep the from backing out?
All truck tires after 4 to 5 years old whether they are on a semi or motor home should be replaced no matter condition or mileage, Good catch.
Depends on the condition
John Deere better sponsor that coach as well! 😁👍
Thanks for watching! :)
I've been working on RV for 39yrs never seen inspection done with XRAY never figured out how one could inspect belts and hoses .
Thanks for watching! :)
Cabinets to me look more like cherry!
Thanks for watching! :)
Real USA...all that weight , ceramics, glass , dishwashers even Tiffany lamps 😂..sorry ....it's just too much...for us Europeans. Stay home if ye want home that much. Book a hotel or air bnb instead of bringing home on holiday/vacation.
It's beautiful, I'd love to live in full time....
I'm struggling paying for a good 1/2 man 4000hh tent ⛺ to camp West coast of Ireland, where these RVs I see now and again here, after relocating here. Lot smaller and needs must due to our climate, like very few sun 😎 days...hence South Coast I relocated to trying to get as many as possible in a stunning country.
I do love seeing these RVs , it's so Frasier Crane , sorry Martin Crane , makes me smile and watch....
Must be great to afford such luxury...and I lived in USA no one cooks dinner , in stunning kitchens anyway , ya"ll eat out , it's so inexpensive compared to here ROI , UK.
Looked great except for the low-rent colors. Is it still around 30k to improve the color scheme?
At least
Lokks in very good shape and ither than the electronics does not look 16 years old. Be interesting to know pricing on something this old.
It was already sold so not sure
Kind of a subject near and dear to my heart now but, at least for the molded glass roofs, I'd be just as worried about what's happening below the roof line. ...I wish that I had looked for delamination on my sidewalls before purchase.
Ouch! Delamination is rough
What do you recommend for fiberglass roofs? Any particular sealer that can be rolled on?
A Wash with a wax built in--just like a car
I can’t ever understand why, or how, people ever live with giant tvs like that in a RV?😳
Because they have giant TVs in their houses too probably
where does the water drain off the front of roof ,,It looks like a water trap??
It does drain
17:29 may I ask what the blue thing is around your neck?
Headphones
Your 1st bad choice was buying a Prius!
Nonsense, this is my 3rd one and they have all been reliable hard working vehicles.
Don't feel bad about the bad ideas , seems like all my ideas are bad 😞
as long as you are learning? I make bad choices constantly
Hey boss and your UA-cam channel name are you missing RV after AZ as in AZ RV expert?
I am not. My tiktok channel has that name though. This channel name was made a long time ago
Add solar to your beaver and no more worrying about parasitic draw.
There is solar.
I've made the decision to work less by working more so many times.... Hahaha
Sounds like my life
