@@NicholasReedCycling Man I thought you killed it. You guys were already going so fast on that back stretch (35+MPH). I know with this course its a sprint to that pinch point and for you staying on JP's wheel seemed like the best play from what I could tell (vs trying to beat JP to that pinch point and then taking the risk of having him come around you with that wicked snap of his in the last 100m or so). This course Ive always found to be deceptively tricky with the setup for the sprint as there isnt much real estate to work with for the actual sprint. It took me awhile to figure out that the back straightaway is really where the sprint takes place (in my opinion anyway).
@@cassettecycling man I agree 100% with that! I think the next thing I would want to try is to actually go even earlier. Might gas myself before the finish, but I think that'll be the next option since I don't have as gnarly of a sprint (yet ;) )
