Right back at you, mate! 👍
Quick question, cause, like I said, I'm a bit of a VR newbie myself. Does Quest Game Optimizer work on PCVR games as well? For some reason, I was under the impression that it could only optimize the Quest games. Alyx looks awesome, but I think it could use a bit of sharpening here and there, so if QGO can help with that, I'll buy it myself. From the little bit I've seen, the installation is a bit of a hassle, but the consensus is that it's definitely worth it, so I'm willing to give it a shot. I mean, I'll definitely buy it at some point, but for now I want to spend the little spare time I have exploring some PCVR games like Alyx and the new Metro.
Looking forward to your Tuesday video, have a great weekend!

@@wagrram Hiya pal, from what I can gather the optimiser works on just about everything. That's according to what I've seen on UA-cam. I think it has to be downloaded through Sidequest but don't quote me as like yourself VR is new for me too. I'm going to do some research regarding this over the weekend. I've got a couple of guys I have in mind to grill about it, so as soon as I know I'll give you a shout ok. About the new Metro game, that actually looks proper good . I have just about all the Metro games in my Steam library including the PC enhanced version which is just brilliant. So have you actually got the new one yet? If so, what's it like? I suspect it's awesome.
Anyway, whatever you're up to this weekend have fun and let me know how you're getting on. Oh yes, I agree that Alyx could be sharper and with luck it'll be just that on Tuesday when I finally get things where I want them. Catch you soon buddy. 👍🏻🙏🏻

      @@MickyDooDah001 Hey, Micky!
How was your weekend and how's the QGO research going? Ready to fiddle with it tomorrow?
I myself put the PCVR gaming on hold until my router gets here (which should be tomorrow), because I wanna enjoy the games as best I can.
I do have the new Metro, but I'll play it after I've finished Alyx, which is probably a ways away.
What racers would you recommend trying/playing in VR? My only regret for not getting the PSVR2 is that I won't experience GT7. From what I've read, it's fabulous. I loved playing it „flat”, as it were, so I assume the VR experience is much better. I've been tempted to get a steering wheel and the whole kit for a few years now and I might bite the bullet at some point, because it looks fun as hell.
      Cheers!

@@wagrram Hey there Waggers, always great to hear from you my friend. My weekend was kind of busy, for a semi retired fella I seem to be more busy than ever. Reasons being I volunteer 2-3 days a week at a local church helping out with the local food bank which I get an immense amount of satisfaction helping my immediate community here in West Park Leeds. I digress, I did have a butchers hook (look, that's London talk), at QGO and what it's all about and basically came away with not a lot more than I already knew really. It would appear that yes, it's a bit convoluted to install but saying that I'm going to give it a go tonight just after midnight when my benefit goes in, so wish me luck with that. 🤪 I have asked around for some insight and pointers as it were on how to get it working and it's a case of follow the instructions verbatim and hope for the best. So am I correct in saying that you're a playstation guy? I'm a pc man myself but do have an XBOX, well not quite, my all singing and dancing Samsung TV has game hub built in which includes Nvidia Geforce now and Xbox cloud streaming so I enjoy the best of both worlds. And as for you possibly taking the plunge regarding getting into SIM Racing I whole heartedly suggest a couple of things. 1, SIM Racing is an expensive hobby but well worth it in my eyes, and 2, have a go on someone else's rig first and see if it's for you. If I total up all the equipment I have, my wheelbase and pedals and aluminium profile rig all comes to around the £1000 ISH not including my 'Up there' PC that's another £1000. So in conclusion have a go on someone else's kit before you take the plunge but I think you'd probably like it.

@@wagrram as for what racing games to play I suggest Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competitione 🤪 (more arcade than Assetto Corsa), Dirt Rally 2.0, RaceRoom Experience (just had a serious graphical and physics update and is now awesome) and is also a free game with in game purchases, WRC 24, WRC Generations. All brilliant Sims. I racing is ok but super expensive I don't bother with that. Because I'm not getting the best out of my quest 3 just yet, vr racing etc is basically unplayable but watch this space tomorrow when I've hopefully got it all sorted with QGO .
Ps. All my SIM Racing kit is FANATEC. CSL DD 8nm full pedal set including Load cell brake pedal I've also got haptics on the brake and accelerator and a big one on the back of my seat fr that kokt when you change gears. Absolutely sh*t hot Mate!! I'll do a video later going around my Rig so you can see what I've got.
