Ariel I love that you give Burley treats while out shoveling. He really is a happy wee soul xxx Burley has snow balls hanging from his back legs lol funny baby boy xxx
I would say you have gotten your money's worth out of that shovel! You keep your place so neat and tidy. Thanks for sharing with us. I hope you and Burly have a wonderful day. Your videos are a real blessing to watch. Simple good living.
I appreciate watching all of your videos. I wouldn't think of saying anything negative about all of the snow that you have at your place, because you need all of the positive reinforcement and encouragement that we, your viewers can give you. I was born in Massachusetts and I remember at 9 years old, the snow banks were taller than me. As an adult, I don't want the snow any higher than my knees. Once again, you are my true Hero living in the Scenic Mountains of Wyoming. I think before you get to be 65 years old like me, that you will be seeking to live in a less physical & stressful climate environment, than you are now. Your youth will carry you thru until then. You have my greatest admiration and prayers that you and Burley will get by just fine. People like you, have a true pioneer spirit, that helped carve out this country, unlike a wimp like me. Thanks Ariel
Now that’s is simply incredible I’ve never seen snow or even touched it. I’m blown away. It looks so beautiful. An experience to add to my bucket list.
Coping with all that snow...you make it look so wonderfully magical because of your "snow engineering" skills. And Burly keeping you company is such a joy to watch...!
Hello Ariel; I love your outlook on shoveling snow. I used to love shoveling paths in the snow for people to walk. Good exercise. I've never been in snow as deep as at your place. It's Beautiful and wonderful. Makes your place even Cozier. Your puppy (Burley) is fun to watch. He's a Frolicky Puppy. I would have had fun shoveling that deep snow, if I were young again. I enjoyed your video. Well done. You are one amazing lady. God bless and keep you and your your puppy safe.
That is a ridiculous pile of snow but it sure is pretty. Hunkering down for a few days while being properly supplied is nice though. The sound of silence in a forest covered in snow is beautiful.
Oh my gosh Ariel! I thought I was going to have heart failure just "watching" you shovel...….wow! And what an awesome, tidy job you do. But then you are a perfectionist. I can't begin to imagine dealing with that much snow. I live in Iowa and I panic when we get 6-8" of snow.....lol. Thank you for sharing with us. I'm sure there are many of us who are incapable of both living and doing the things you do, so it's wonderful to be able to live through you. If that makes any sense. Burley is so darn cute! God Bless!
Thankfully the snow is pretty light so it's really not a lot of lifting. Though after I finished my place I did continue shoveling other's decks, hot tubs, pathways, doors, and roofs for a good 9 hour day of shoveling. And then repeated the same thing the next day for 9 more hours. More roofs to shovel tomorrow. :)
@@FyNyth Yes, thank goodness it was a pretty light snow. Heavy and wet 16+ inches would be awful. 9 hour days.....oh my goodness! Do you stop and take a break, eat, etc.? I would think you'd need some refueling....lol. And yes, you stated in your video that you would be doing other properties and that if the lane wasn't cleared you'd be walking. Now I know you don't have just "next door" neighbors, so how far do you have to go? And do you use your own shovel or do they provide one for you to use?And one more question. Do you take Burley when you go to shovel elsewhere? If not, I'll bet he's sure happy to see you when you get back to the homestead. Take care little one, and God Bless.
Sometimes, but often if I'm busy I just eat when I'm done. I always keep a water bottle handy. The first house is only about a half mile away. And Burley comes along for all shoveling jobs. :)
Ariel, that was so nice to watch ... and the finished paths at the end. Wow, what a tremendous amount of snow you shoveled! Mild winter here, North of you ... till February began. Since then ... much like you, colder temps and much more snow. So nice to see though. Lots of moisture for the Earth come Spring. 🌷
Great job, Ariel. It’s nice to see you enjoying the snow and quietness of winter. I can hear the chickadees singing joyfully. Silly Burley barks at birds!
Ariel, you and your videos are so awesome!!! It's so refreshing to see a woman who enjoys shoveling that much snow... and for other people too! Thanks for sharing your beautiful life with us. :o)
Hi Ariel, I just think its beautiful where your tiny 🏡 house is located, ❄ snowed in, and a warm cozy toasty home.. Just 💃 fabulous. I can see it takes work sometimes hard, to have what you've created there. But I'm sure you'd say, it's all worth it.
WOW! Keep hearing the chickadees in the background--cute! Shoveling--oh, yes! MN has snow, but more cold! Be safe and blessings to you! :) :) :) Thank you for all your videos!
Forget the scared straight shows where they send out of control teens to jails to scare them into behaving!! One month with Ariel in the winter is all it would take!! Love your outlook on life dear lady!!
I call the light fluffy snow "Christmas snow" as it reminds me of beautiful snow falling in so many Christmas shows. I also shovel like you do Ariel but yeah you are lucky no one is packing down the snow before you have a chance to shovel it for one, and that it is light so easy to shovel. I will say that when your face is red and your hair is so wet it makes me think of how much that wood stove would feel good at that moment. I know how that feels and I also kept going to try to finish any snow shoveling job when like that too. Once inside the body chills up all over for a little bit as it soaks in the warmth of the inside. I watch the weather to see what you might be going through and then come back to your channel to see how you are doing Ariel. Thank you for so spending so much time sharing but, I wanted to help you out so you could go inside. lol
I’m fond of making firewood like you are of shoveling snow. Good healthy hard work. We have gone through about four cords so far this year so it’s good I enjoy it. I did build a hydraulic wood splitter since I’ve gone past the six decade mark splittings not quite as easy as it once was. We love our wood heat.
glorious! + it is only you who needs 'maintenance'! we had 6'' last week - hah! i am soooo envious of you + burley. absolutely agree , i love cold, cold winters with snow + frost.
Hi Ariel, thanks for the great info! I love snow too! I think it's great to live the way you do. It's a healthy and happy lifestyle. Thumbs up! You are an inspiration! Keep on keepin' on~and always keep a smile 💕
Ariel....you are amazing. Beautiful inside and out. I live tiny in the UP of michigan. Lots of snow too. We use an ATV to plow snow. We have 1/8 mile driveways. You are the boss of snow. Ariel may you know how much everyone loves you and wish you all of life's joys
You must be very fit! Thanks for sharing snow videos. We have an occasional snow where I live but with all the extreme weather you just don't know if there's going to be a good dumping one day. Handy to get some pointers.
Omgosh watching you shovel all that loose snow, makes me envious. Since moving to Vancouver Island, BC Canada, if I get an inch I'm out shoveling. With that, the width of the driveway I can barely lift the shovel due to the dampness of the snow. A hard change for me. That's what makes watching the lightness of your snow very reflective.
Hi Ariel What a treat it is for me to be able to experience your amazing and wonderful lifestyle, here on the opposite side of the planet. Truly amazing.
Your pathways are so tidy! I swear shoveling snow is an art and you have proved it🙌🏻 This was master level path carving👌🏻😄💪🏻 And Burley just having a blast in all that snow!!🐶❤️ What a beautiful life:)

Hi Ariel and Burley ,this is the most snow i have seen in my life time Wow ,you are one fit Gal to shovel so much in such a short time ,what about Global warming not where you live i feel ,really living off grid is for the young ,elderly people would be in real trouble i fear ,i wish you good health no winter colds and many cuddles from Burley what a great companion he is for you ,PD
Holy moly! All that snow. I love it though, so peaceful and I don't mind shoveling. I keep trying to get my husband to move to Alaska or Maine or Canada but no luck for thirty years so far. LOL
Love how motivated U r. How u tell a story. I agree too, shovel usually better choice. My neighbour has a cute but really quite good small model snow plow. Still shovels snow as well. Your home nice cozy, but too clean. Lol.
Thanks! Being a house on wheels and designed to tow down the road, raising it up is not really possible. And I have a nice little patio, you just can't see it because of the snow right now. :)
WOW!!! I would absolutely LOVE TO BE THERE!!! I wish we could have a good snow so much and we never get any here in the South 😢 Enjoy that Beautiful Winter Wonderland ❤️
How incredibly beautiful and serene. I imagine the Pioneer women were like you. Thanks for sharing your life at FyNyth with us. I enjoy your videos so much!
We just had an 81*🌞 day today (Feb 5 2019) in Dallas! I wouldn't mind a weekend play day in the snow! It looks lovely, but I know it's a lot of work! Enjoy your winter wonderland Ariel! ⛄
Ohhh I don't miss that! I lived in the Dallas area 77 to 81, when I came up here where Ariel lives (hi Ariel). Spring kinda starts happening in April though yeah, it can snow any month of the year so our wonderful summers and falls are precious. Better some beautiful snow and low humidity than the 100+ and high humidity of Dallas, let alone all the people and traffic and lack of mountains!
The only time I experienced Snow like that, was when I lived in upstate NY, Ft. Drum near Watertown back in the early 1980's..I think we also had a big blizzard on my Birthday in Dec. and it was my late husband who shoveled Snow afterwards .No snow here today in Ohio ! I am sooooooo Haapppppy ! : ) Keep warm Ariel ...God Bless you and your incredible energy ! Keep it going !
I love the snow, and coming from a place where we've never gotten enough to shovel, people always tell me "you like it now, but you're going to hate living in it." Which I think is such a weird kind of thing to say to someone..? Making an assumption about me because..? What, they want to be right? Yeah it's true, everyone I've ever known from NY or the Midwest hates it, but I guess that's why they're down here in Texas lol. This is how I look at it: If shoveling snow and chopping wood is what I need to do to live in the mountains, then so be it. It's worth it to me. Plus, I like to look at those chores as good exercise. I'm quite fed up with living in an apartment and not having a yard or a garden to look after and a place for a dog or kids to run around. I want to work hard to maintain the things I love and have some pride of ownership.
People's assumptions are funny. I still get people who tell me I can't do this, must be in my first winter, and will never stay. 5 years in. Sigh. Just ignore what people tell you and do what you care about is usually my plan. :)
I'm in Canada...I think I love you :) Great channel by the way...really like the way you live. I lived on my sailboat for a year and can appreciate the minimalist living that you show on your channel. I really enjoy your vlog. Not many women like you in this world !!!!
I have to agree with you, shoveling snow can be so peaceful with just a shovel and your thoughts. Nice vid.
Ariel I love that you give Burley treats while out shoveling. He really is a happy wee soul xxx Burley has snow balls hanging from his back legs lol funny baby boy xxx
I keep some in my pocket so we can keep practicing everything he's learning easily while we are out and about doing things. :)
I would say you have gotten your money's worth out of that shovel! You keep your place so neat and tidy. Thanks for sharing with us. I hope you and Burly have a wonderful day. Your videos are a real blessing to watch. Simple good living.
I do love good hand tools that do a job well for years!
What a truly beautiful home you have. I admire your snow management ethics ! Cute pup too. Cheers from BC.🇨🇦
At the end of the video, your doggy had snow balls! LOL! 🐕☃️

I do very much enjoy the snow. Heat on the other hand I really struggle with. So I'm glad we can all find climates that we enjoy. :)
Now that’s is simply incredible I’ve never seen snow or even touched it. I’m blown away. It looks so beautiful. An experience to add to my bucket list.
You are tough. You have a great work ethic. Stay safe!

That snow will insulate the bottom of your tiny home. Two weeks ago we got 30” where I live. I can relate!
That's a lot!

Wow ! Ariel ! Time to build some snow tunnels to minimize the shoveling ! So much Snow ! Keep on Keeping ! Thanks !
Too fluffy to hold a tunnel shape, but that would be cool!

Oh my goodness. What a trooper 👏
I remember shoveling snow like that
In the 60s & 70s loved it!
Your pathways are so tidy! I swear shoveling snow is an art and you have proved it🙌🏻 This was master level path carving👌🏻😄💪🏻
And Burley just having a blast in all that snow!!🐶❤️
What a beautiful life:)
Aww thanks! I do like things to be tidy if possible. :)
Wow - I'll never complain about our 9 inches of snow. That is so much snow. I do love snow but dang my back hurts watching you. YOU GO GIRL!!
Thankfully the snow is pretty light so it's really not a lot of lifting. Your really brave, it looks beautiful, I felt exhausted after watching you shovel, great exercise though.🌻
Good thing that you get fluffy snow !
Looks like fun Burley.
We had 4 inches at my place in Seattle this weekend, it was uncharacteristically dry so I didnt even have to shovel it off the car, just swept it off. I had started to shovel the walk way it was so light I almost whacked my self with the shovel after I threw the snow off to the side of my path! I expected the weight of the snow to keep the tip down upon release...wrong..easy scoop means fast recoil lol! Nice work out!
Dry snow is so much nicer isn't it? :)
Wow!
A lot of snow!!!!
U r definitely a trooper
I find this oddly peaceful.
Gurl, you are a die hard....ain't noooooooooooooooooooo way i could do that much shoveling...Blessings!
I hope you have plenty of water and food and a good book. The snow looks so beautiful. Please, please take good care of your back.
Thanks for your concern! :)
LOL
I'll pass on snow shoveling ⚓
It's fun to see all the up keep you enjoy ⚓♥️
Pretty cool vid"
Reminds me of winters past.
Cheers you awesome person....
Love how motivated U r. How u tell a story. I agree too, shovel usually better choice. My neighbour has a cute but really quite good small model snow plow. Still shovels snow as well. Your home nice cozy, but too clean. Lol.
Yay! Everyday is Christmas!
I can help. I like peaceful.
I need to live here... I am pretty obsessed with snow.
Ariel, you are amazing, shovel off to you!
I loved it!I got tired just watching you shovel.lol.love,love the snow.
Oh my goodness! Stay hydrated and well fed!
love your tiny house I wonder if you should raise the house up some with a deck.
Thanks! Being a house on wheels and designed to tow down the road, raising it up is not really possible. And I have a nice little patio, you just can't see it because of the snow right now. :)
WOW!!! I would absolutely LOVE TO BE THERE!!! I wish we could have a good snow so much and we never get any here in the South 😢
Enjoy that Beautiful Winter Wonderland ❤️
How incredibly beautiful and serene. I imagine the Pioneer women were like you. Thanks for sharing your life at FyNyth with us. I enjoy your videos so much!
You are a snow removal FREAK and I LOVE it! Fargo, ND. punching in. Fighting the same battle here! Lol.
I love snow and where u r its beautiful!!! People say I'm crazy for loving snow and i believe u can relate to me since u r there. Lol!! Great video.
I do indeed love snow.
We just had an 81*🌞 day today (Feb 5 2019) in Dallas! I wouldn't mind a weekend play day in the snow! It looks lovely, but I know it's a lot of work! Enjoy your winter wonderland Ariel! ⛄
Live near Dallas. Tempted to turn the AC on. 😄😄
@@dawnbaker9274 Also in DFW..... did turn on the upstairs AC for a bit :-)
Wow! Hopefully you all enjoy the heat. I'm fine with it never getting into the 80's.

Ariel, a sled would be fun in the snow path
Its so beautiful, I love the snow. We did not get anything near that in Chicago.... I love your house
The snow falling of the evergreen was awesome. You should just make a clip of that it would go viral for sure...

It's February. In India it's 20-25 Deg in Day and 10-15 Deg in Night. It's WINTER. God bless you.
Wow a snow maze amazing, your in shape 💪💪💪
That was quite mesmerising to watch! Quite jealous of the amount of snow you get, but I know how much work it is! Good job! Love your videos!
It looks so beautiful there
I would totally make an “iglo”, snowhut or whatever you want to call it. I would not be able to resist.
