Happy Labor Day, 2022 My home state of Florida has had to resort to hiring VETERANS to teach this year because of teacher shortages. Unfair wages. Nothing changes. Except we’re still writing and singing and marching and talking about it. So I have to have faith change will come. She was also the first Black woman to have written the music, lyrics and book for a Broadway musical - Don't Bother Me I Can't Cope
