they are great and old skool, however, above & beyond have been the best for the last 10 years and only Armin comes close...
Same beats! great music but it gets boring .. Armin is the only DJ you can see live several times a year and expecting something new or different .. + He is the best at reading the crowd in the trance scene
Above and beyond is not into Trance anymore .. Armin is good and loyal to Trance but I feel Ferry Corsten is the best when it comes to Trance.
I believe PVD is the king of trance currently, but that's just my opinion.
Sorry, but armin's sets have been crap since 2013 in terms of trance. His asot sets are ok and the second hour is good most of the time, but his mainstage sets are pure shit. In terms of trance there are a lot of better djs, for example darren porter, aly and fila, giuseppe ottaviani, pvd, alex morph and many more. And then there are the proggy psy djs who put out better work, too (phaxe, querox, neelix, granau)
There's no need to defend armins current music. He was one of the best, but these times are long gone.
