Great to see two of the best and most charismatic lead singers of all time. Only one missing was Bon. Then we would have had the trifecta. Sad to think they all died far too young.
This was one of those "Rage" Countdown marathons they do every year. I think Rage started doing these in the early 90's like twice a year. They'd pick certain months of the year and do the entire run from 1974 to 1987. I loved watching them, especially how every era was and how it changed from one to the next, i found that aspect very interesting to watch.
@@Gezza1967 I actually had met Shirley and had some email contact with Shirley about this clip. She wrote: Hi Rod, that's very funny that you found that. Did you see the song too? @@rodc2678 thanks again, I only knew the song after it was played on Rage Retro over a decade ago, enjoyed it so much I uploaded it to UA-cam back then and Shirley’s daughter made a comment on it. After your notice/comment I googled Shirley yesterday and thought it would be nice to do a tribute.fb.watch/f4vg1YUEcZ/
The majority of people were slim in the 1970s and early 1980s. Fast food and ultra processing was only just starting to take over the waistlines of the masses.
this is funny but sad all at once, Marc telling Michael to 'be clean' yet he's clearly off his face & now both are dead. The Fruit Pastilles girls seem to be on something too, i wonder what became of them...Hmm did anyone appear on Countdown sober??
Yeh,.. just like when Molly was asking Marc to give Michael some advice, and looked at Michael 'to be clean' in response, and this was 1982 early in their careers. They both never did in their careers. How bloody sad. I didn't know that they did an interview together.
As a teenage girl in the late 70s and early 80s I would have married Marc Hunter regardless of his occupation. In fact I would have preferred him to be a handyman gardener all day everyday.
great memories but how sad, they are both gone to early RIP Marc and Michael
both buddies both collaborators and both gone,... I feel so alone
Two legends gone far too soon :'(
What a great time to grow up. Thanks to all those people who made it possible, Marc, Michael, Molly and many more...
Magnificent !

2 absolute legends that have unfortunately passed and 1 is still alive...

Sad to know they are both gone... but their music is their legacy. Two of the greats.

Oliver Wurm because he was on the gear :(
Yep. A 100% authentic rocker was Marc.

@@Gezza1967 nicely done!
Hard to believe that within 15 years they both would be dead. They look so young n slim here......

Marc Hunter❤❤❤❤❤❤
@SparkysSparklers , nice one!
I have no idea who Marc is, but it's interesting seeing Michael so young.
He fronted the group Dragon and was from New Zealand.

И почему западная эстрада так подвержена некрофилии?
Love dragon. Mark just seems arrogant though. Kind of guy no one would like if he wasn’t a rock star.
