Bless you for the interpretation. I was directed to read Psalm 49, and I wanted a clear understanding hence the search. I am glad I stumbled on your teachings. It helped. Thank you. God bless you.

I'm looking at this as Psalm 14 coming back expansively .
Also in Psalm 47 and 48 there was salvation to the world from the Jews and perhaps these Psalms that follow gives a glimpse the need and how that salvation comes?
Psalm 49 has a universal need for redemption from a certain grave and they cannot redeem themselves but God will redeem me.
Psalm 50 is like an echo of the Song of Moses calling heaven and earth to witness against God's people and is about wrong offering and wrong sacrifice of God's people
Psalm 51 the center of these 5 will be David's plea in Psalm 51. The man after God's own heart making a model prayer for redemption for us. The sacrifice of God is a broken spirit and solution like calling light out of darkness "create in me a clean heart"
Psalm 52 is the judgement of the wicked unrepentant
Psalm 53 has a universal state of man where no man does good, sounding like Psalm 14 showing great need we are all tinged with sin and corrupt and in need in our fallen nature
