I think it's about more than his Karma value or even his emotional suppression function, Dark Wisdom, etc, I think it's "Momonga" (i.e. the game avatar) role playing "settings". When Yggdrasil was turned "into reality", locations, items and even NPCs were turned into real entities... but why would that not also apply to the _player characters_ ...? And I don't mean players, I mean the _game avatars_ the players controlled. When Suzuki Satoru created the character Momonga, he projected into it the characteristics of being a Necromancer, etc, but he _also_ role played being the leader of a large heteromorph guild, armed with great wisdom and benevolence _towards those of Nazarick_ That is, caring for Nazarick is a part of who "Momonga" is and that is why Suzuki Satoru in his current state still would _feel_ things towards Nazarick's NPCs, for example, but not really give a shit if his "fellow humans" died by the billions. He _rationally understands_ that killing humans is "bad", he knows he (Suzuki Satoru) would/should feel bad, but he doesn't. There isn't even emotional suppression before or after the fact, he just doesn't feel anything. He is basically a human consciousness pasted in, amalgamated together with the game avatar that is Momonga brought to life. At least that's the explanation that makes sense to me given all the evidence.
True. After gaining max level cap, then only thing that is different between you and others max level players is skill, what ever gained by experience and knowledge to know how game or world works, IQ to predict and read your opponent and finally optimizing your actions to waste little time as possible to keep DPS or your intended skill high as possible and closing possible holes in your defense and offense. Also reaction time, but your cant much train that far as i know.
'Cept Momonga was optimized for Role Play instead of PvP. In Yggdrasil he wasn't the unbeatable god king, he was a sub-optimal lich with a good enough head on his shoulders and guild at his back to make up for it. His concerns over other Yggdrasil players are legitimate, an optimized PvP player would pose a significant threat to him.
@@dennisp8520 Only if he can predict it. @One’s Nirvonis It's not a World Class Item. It's World Champion gear. A prize that TouchMe earned after the same tournament where he won and gained the World Champion Class. As for what it's quality is, Ainz mentioned that it's Data Capacity is comparable to Guild Weapons.
I think what’s really important to remember is the background/personality of each NPC. The supreme beings were unique individuals who imparted specific traits onto their creations. Thus for all we know the NPCs of the 8 Greed Kings, altho level 100, might still be lacking in terms of lore that allow for a greater build or even in terms of gear/ time invested into their builds.
One Question, not related to the video. I haven't read the LNs (yet) and I was wondering: Is Ains aware, that it was Downfall of Castle and Country specifically that was used to control Shalltear? With how strong certain world items are, I am sure that Ains would reckognize some of the strongest ones if he was to hear their name and maybe remember which guild used to own it back in Yggdrassil.
i kinda adore the dynamic of overlord here. He's OP as hell and presumably surrounded by an overpowered army at his disposal. But they give much greater context of the implications of what that means than most isekai. Where its just some loser with overpowered crap breezing through everything and just ends up with a harem for no reason. In context. Ainz is a top level player in an MMO that retained his powers. No shit he's OP in the new world. He doesn't just come upon that power. He worked for it and has the hours behind it to fully grasp the full extent of his abilities and knows intimately his own weaknesses. While most protags are so OP they have no weaknesses and exponentially get strong having worked very little for it. But its the humility and caution that really clinches it. You are in a new world and you know nothing of its dangers. You shouldn't be an OP hero that just dashes into danger not understanding wtf ur doing. In any decently written story. That should result in you immediately dying and everyone in the new world calling you a moron. Ainz has his harem and army. But he's weighed down by their astronomically high expectations. And although he's easily the most powerful being in the new world. He knows his own underlings are vastly more intelligent than him and there is that chance where he doesn't meet their lofty ideal of him. Their worship might turn into contempt and kill him. Its just two paragraphs to establish a character and world. But so many of these isekai light novels don't bother to give that greater degree of context and you end up with the most shallow experience. Powers are cool because they are used within a story. Not because they bend space/time and play with causality. Its just word salad for, thing that I did was superer than the super saiyan. So to defeat it, I need to do something even more supererer. Japan. You don't have to project your penis envy in your writing. Like as a nation. Don't normalise it.
i believe that according to the book volume 12 he is trying to find out about all the skills of the new world that are different than the ones in yggdrasil so he has an idea on how to react to new challenges as they come up is that not why he is training to be better as a warrior
One unrelated thing I was thinking today, if Platinum Dragon Lord or any other enemy wanted to defeat Nazarick, could they do it? How would they do it? The most "viable" strategy I can come up with is to abduct Momonga and imprison (but not kill) him at a very fortified location, like the Greed Kings' previous base. Once that is accomplished, the various minions of Nazarick would undoubtedly come to his rescue. Since they are forced to come to you, that would enable a (far easier) defensive battle, as attacking Nazarick is basically suicide. That'd also allow for the easier sowing of dissent, spreading of disinformation, etc, as losing the commander-in-chief would disturb the command structure and severely limit their ability to move in unison. Adaptability would also be compromised as they'd lack Momonga's ingenuity and be less decisive. For instance, without Momonga's leadership, could they make the call to employ a World Item? Keeping in mind that World Items often are one-time items and that they are the property of Supreme Beings, they might hesitate. Even worse, they might come to disagreeing opinions on the matter and fail to reach a conclusion at all. Worse still, the disagreement might escalate, leading to individuals deciding to take matters in their own hands unbeknownst to everybody else. Worse still still, perhaps a civil war would break out over these unresolvable disputes, with force being used to prevent other factions from doing what they think is necessary to rescue Momonga, etc. Anyway, it has been hinted several times that Momonga's existence is indispensable to instill cohesion among the NPCs and reign in their characteristic traits. And even though Momonga isn't as intelligent or competent as he'd wish to be, he at least stresses creating contingencies to deal with situations which the NPCs often neglect to or are even unwilling to consider; e.g. the very case of a Supreme Being dying. That lack of foresight and "planning for the worst" in the NPC's part would likely lead to severe problems. Finally, after taking over Nazarick, then taking over its vast reserves of resources and guild base functions, perhaps even World Items and NPCs, would be the death blow to Momonga and the previous owners of Nazarick. After that it's even unclear if Momonga would be able to respawn at all, but even if he could, the best he could hope for at that stage was to flee and gather strength in seclusion. Of course, the key problem here is abducting Momonga as he is quite the slippery fellow. But then again, Platinum Dragon Lord et al have basically unlimited life-spans, lose nothing by waiting and, on the contrary, can gain more intelligence on Nazarick the more time passes, their units move around and spread themselves thin... I think it'd be quite amusing if the simultaneous 'twist' and pay-off for the several chapters and books of Momonga's paranoia and repeatedly stressing the importance of information gathering cumulated to the revelation that, indeed, he had reason to be cautious and in fact he wasn't being cautious enough! That PDL _was_ watching him the entire time and waiting for an opportunity to strike. I mean, what would a dragon care about more in the world than the *treasure box* we have been repeatedly told Nazarick is, ridiculously over-stuffed with World Items and whatnot?
@サイレントボイス Yeah I honestly think that capturing/killing Ainz would be the new worlds biggest mistake, He is literally the only thing keeping hordes and hordes of overpowered Npcs and monsters from doing whatever they want. At least Ainz has some kind of moral compass albeit not a very good one but compared to say Demiurge...lol.
I actually think one of the best ways would be to capture probably Cocytus, and store him somewhere immune to scrying. Cocytus in particular is probably the easiest member of Nazarick to capture, due to his trappings of honor, lack of very difficult to deal with magic or skills beyond defensive, and how much Cocytus loses if he is stripped of his weapons. That in itself puts Nazarick on max alert, that you can take advantage of by spreading misinformation and/or hiring illusionists to impersonate Cocytus, you can pull Nazarick's movements, that will be somewhat more erratic than before, since losing his "family" is the one chink in Ainz' armor and mental protections. From there, it gets easier to capture, kill, or, if it's on the table, Downfall of Castle and Country members of Nazarick that overextend. Killing is actually a fairly viable strategy, as it depletes Nazarick's non-infinite stores of wealth. But, with no DoCC, the best is to keep capturing and storing in seperate specialized prisons, immune to scrying, and probably encased in some antimagic effect if applicable, and you need to be able to check your captures to find Pandora's Actor. Every further capture further stresses the capabilities of Nazarick, by requiring duties to be performed by members who either have better uses, or just aren't specialized for the role. The golden goose to capture or turn is of course Demiurge, but with how cautious he is, it's unlikely that you'd get him. Pandora's Actor is also a huge one to capture, and you might even get him "voluntarily". You need some kind of prison or lock that prevents him from shapeshifting, or else just the biggest, most expensive prison for him to handle the massive variety of options he has. The other golden goose, once you have multiple captures, is to offer Ainz a deal that if he lets himself be killed, he gets one member of Nazarick back, and keep offering this deal regularly, as long as you have more than one or two prisoners set aside. The level loss would reduce Ainz' overall abilities, and, more importantly, this loss would either be permanent or result in Ainz stepping away from leadership for a time, as Ainz would very likely earn the five levels back in purely governing and management classes if he kept acting as he did, and the opportunity to train his advances magic classes, if even possible in the NW, would require tons of time. This is a terrible deal for Ainz, but, he might actually take it, since again, the safety of the people inside Nazarick IS Ainz' goal. You'd just need a check to make sure you were killing Ainz, and not Pandora's Actor instead. It's unreasonably expensive to pull all of this off, relies on the existance of places, enchantments, ect to render things immune to magic, and relies on somehow managing to capture Cocytus, buuuuuuut...
@@aprinnyonbreak1290 No one is strong enough to contest any Floor Guardian. Period. Imagine if Ainz turns into a hybrid class Mage/Warrior . I`ve played such character in games and they are OP compared to one way classes by simply giving you the option to counter your enemy by using atacks he cant deal with.
Wonder if he'll ever find an item/relic from the old world that will allow him to respec his classes and stats without having to lose levels. It would be a very useful item, it most likely won't be usable in combat for obvious reasons. Not sure how it would work since some the classes and skills have requirements outside of just other class levels. But still be a very useful item to get ahold of.

Suzuki satoru learned something very valuable, during his first foray in Yggdrasil. The weak perish! He got Pk'd so many times it is not funny. The experience made him paranoid. He always assumes there is a powerful enemy behind everything that happens. He gets disappointed a lot , but he is never unprepared. He keeps seing himself as an underdog, as not as smart as his top NPCs, which leads to surprises, like demiurges attack on E-Rantel. If he had a slightly better opinion about his own intelligence, things might have gone better. As is .. he lets demiurge and albedo do as they please, and this will come bite him in the ass soon. He thinks of the npcs as the children of hs guild friends. That is wrong on both counts. He never had friends, just team members. The NPCs are not children. They are incredibly powerful monsters, programmed by some of the most fucked up people ever. He needs to ride herd on them all, 24/7 or they will fuck up his plans. Demiurge is cunning and can plan strategy , but he is destructive in the extreme. Albedo is real smart about resource management, but that is the extend of her knowledge. They need direction, specific orders clear and unambiguous , which he does not provide. Tf is demiurge up to in the holy kingdom, does he even know? Albedo is planning a war with the kingdom. Instead of taking the long view and solidifying their position , albedo will have them keep conquering. She doesn't care how they are perceived, or what problems they face , due to their reputation. Her mind cannot stretch that far. None of them have real experience with anything, but combat and destruction. Push comes to shove, they will leave a smoking hole behind them. And that idiot is wasting time learning to be a warrior, not because it serves a purpose, but because he wanted to change to a warrior after he met touch me. He still thinks of this as a game, he still wants his friends back. Like a child, he wishes for what never was. His "friends" were at each other's throats more often than not. They pretty much ignored him. They only cane together to attack someone else. 4th season and he is stil half asleep at the wheel. This is not going to end well. At some point either demiurge or albedo ,leave a great smoking hole someplace rather important, and the idiot will keep blaming himself. He told pandora's actor he wants him to out grow him. Is he insane ? He just told a monster, he wants it to get more powerful than he is. He is not evil , he is stupid. Which is worse. How many times does he need it demonstrated, that he and the NPCs do not speak the same language?
Yeah, that combined with Albedo's ability to ignore his orders if she's emotional enough= he's probably going to face a civil war in Nazarick between Albedo and Demiurge.
Well if he runs out of mana, having a good fallback is always wise, and given how the world's logic works, nobody would expect a magic caster to suddenly start spanking bitches all up close and personal like.

That is, caring for Nazarick is a part of who "Momonga" is and that is why Suzuki Satoru in his current state still would _feel_ things towards Nazarick's NPCs, for example, but not really give a shit if his "fellow humans" died by the billions.
Perfect warrior makes ainz a lvl100 warrior, the lvl 80 cap is for doppelgangers trying to copy others.
That's what happens when you're a veteran PVP player. You always work to max out and optimise your. Always.
Actually you can train your reflexes
'Cept Momonga was optimized for Role Play instead of PvP. In Yggdrasil he wasn't the unbeatable god king, he was a sub-optimal lich with a good enough head on his shoulders and guild at his back to make up for it. His concerns over other Yggdrasil players are legitimate, an optimized PvP player would pose a significant threat to him.
@@duddude321 a king almost never needs to be the strongest fighter, Ainz has things in place that can kill even a specialist in PvP
@@dennisp8520 Only if he can predict it. His subordinates have very low autonomy so a pvp focused player with compatible knowledge of the new world could wait for one of the times he gets cocky vs npcs and uses up his super, exc, then attack. Mononga for all of his caution does get overzealous a significant amount of the time.
I always watch your videos on mobile. The ad revenue isn't that much probably, but your content is consistently great enough for me to put up with Google Nest ads. Love the content.

I can recommend to read the light novel a second time. All this foreshadowing you dont get the first time is great
My internet has been down for the past few days, and the first thing I do when it comes back up is come watch your video. ♠
Can Momonga increases his level in the perfect warrior form?
Mera Mera no mi l he has been trying to see if the new world allows others to gain class levels, from what we have seen from hamsuke I think it may be possible for him to at least learn martial arts
Ever since I've i saw touch me's armour I've always wondered why ainz didn't wear that instead of his momon armour
Always thought that armour looked better and stronger.
- All hail ainz Ool Gown 🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴
Schön wie du schon erahnt hast das die meisten deine Videos im background laufen lassen :D
Just to say does anyone knew that the name Carne (of ours beloved village) means meat/flesh in Italian?
It also does it in spanish
*How demiurge sees the village*
So i immagine it annoys both Italian and Spanish people now he pronunciate "carn" if it is pronunced the same
@@Sextistsheep how demiurge see everything except bone daddy
i believe that according to the book volume 12 he is trying to find out about all the skills of the new world that are different than the ones in yggdrasil so he has an idea on how to react to new challenges as they come up is that not why he is training to be better as a warrior
You're doing a great job, keep it up!
Period. That said, a number if things you suggested have holes such as NPCs being able to sense who is who, thus eliminating the viability of imposters, as well as discounting the possibility that Rubedo is deployed in such a scenario.
@@chaotixthefox
Oh, yes, that plan is absolutely flawed.
It's just the least terrible one, that relied on adding the least to the universe that I could come up with.
Momonga even in this predicament he still is on his undead grind
Great content as always!
Simple, hes already maxed in casting (or so it seems). While he may not be able to gain levels as a warrior, he is most certainly capable of learning the hard way and gain a certain proficiency with actual fighting experience.
Nice Video
Cocytus must have felt an HunterXHunter Chimera Ant Arc[ if you know what i mean ;) ] level of serotonin and dopamine for training with his Lord Ainz-sama :))))))
Being a one-trick pony sucks.
@サイレントボイス Well, Dominance is nice in any way, especially against humans
O sht, he is onto me listening to him while doing dishes
If the 100 level cap is not a thing in the New World, which is probably isn't, if he gains that 101st level as 1 level of Fighter, he effectively becomes FAR MORE powerful in combat.
I hope Aniz get an organic humanoid god form
Hes german for sure.
Bin auch ein Overlord- Fan
I am like how did he know i was doing my homework while listening to it 😂😂
Just a little thing I learned is that overlord have a lot in common with d&d 3.5 edition rather then the current 5th edition because it has a lot of classes and races just like yugrashil and I mean ther are soooooooo many and so simular that they are basically the same so when ever you want to learn about somthing in overlord just check out d&d 3.5 books it cold be really helpful
Sidenote, they did spend effort to gain that power, its just the system where they gained it was more set up to gain said power
13:08 AYO I WAS LITERALLY DOING SOMETHING ELSE WHILE LISTENING TO THIS LOL
Imagine if Ainz turns into a hybrid class Mage/Warrior . I`ve played such character in games and they are OP compared to one way classes by simply giving you the option to counter your enemy by using atacks he cant deal with.
Right I played a spell sheild in Skyrim
Wonder if he'll ever find an item/relic from the old world that will allow him to respec his classes and stats without having to lose levels. It would be a very useful item, it most likely won't be usable in combat for obvious reasons. Not sure how it would work since some the classes and skills have requirements outside of just other class levels. But still be a very useful item to get ahold of.
What if ains put on climbs ring and activated it? Wouldn't that mean he would go past level 100
Got called out in the end lmao
that thanks at the end, shit he knows.
I want a see an assassin 100 level with god tier items be awesome seeing something like genji just destroying their enemies or something at least that's what I'd be.Anyone know if there is a Supreme Being that has this playstyle?
Their is but I forgot the name
@@umbraghosts9043 oh well but I think it's an interesting playstyle not one most anime go for in an isekai anyway which is one of the reasons I like kazuma in konosuba
Muhammad Uddin oh Lord Nishirenshikai or something is an assassin! I remember that he one shotted an event boss as it spawns. Like just flash and the boss is done lol
My little Kendall fits right in i think that nishkienrai is the best when it comes to single target burst damage of all AOG
E.E.E yep, the strongest assassin in AOG
Odd question, but can anybody point me towards some Big List of Skills? Specifically (!) the kind your not born with but like (or at least similar to) the Reincarnation-System where things you put much Effort into in your first life get transfered or at least inspire your New Skills?
Ainz is lucky he went to the new world instead of some place where lvl 1000 was common
😂
Lord Ainz is the great leader we all need
How did he know??? That terrified me
Was trading overpowered items a thing when it was a game?
I think it wouldve been cool if there was trade between guilds
What about a.trading guild?
13:10 you caught me
Can u do video about did ainz bring his red orb to battle with shield and why didnt he used and can it be used on battle
How did you knew!!!!
Can you clarify the power level of these characters in the story, if as warrior, Momon losses to Clementine, then Clementine losses to War Troll Go Gin, then does Momon lose to Go Gin aswell? how bout Momon vs Brain or Gazef, who do you think will win? how bout Momon vs Lakyus or Remedios?
my initial assumption on the new world swordsmen : Death Knight > Momon > Go Gin > Clementine > Gazef > Brain > Remedios > Lakyus > Gagaran > 4 knights of empire > Tia / Tina > gold plate adventurers > Climb > paladins > unnamed citizens
cant include the 6 arms members thanks to sebas i didnt get to see any action from them.
Since Ainz no longer has access to Yggdrasil systems how would he even know if he gained any levels?
How did you guess I was doing something else?
Ainz in once it use the world item it despair? Meaning he cannot buy it to use it again the weapon?
ronie vega Certain world items called the 20 there are 20 of them. Have such game changing effects they disappear after a single use. In Yggdrasil they spawned into the world again for hopefully another player to use
