I don’t speak japanese:( What was their conclusion in the video? Which one sounds better? I heard the guy say “stereo image” and point to the Kawai. I’m guessing they liked the kawai better because of the stereo imaging? In the video when the girl is playing music from her ipad on the kawai the playback sounds muffled to me, while playback on the yamaha sounded cleaner to me. This video sounds like they recorded it in mono so can’t tell at all which sounds better.
Kawai sounds warmer. It’s touch it’s heavier. Sounds like Kawai grand piano. Yamaha sounds brighter. It’s touch is lighter. Recommended to go to the store to try it yourself to decide. That’s what they said. From this recording, I actually prefer the Yamaha sound. Usually I’d prefer Kawai, but somehow in this recording it didn’t sound authentic.
YAMAHAのほう、多分この機種だと思うけど、木製鍵盤やアフタータッチを売りにしてる通常の電子ピアノと実際比較してみたらこれ圧倒的に本物のタッチに近くて驚いた。一つ打鍵しただけで驚いた。
