I love it! Can you tell me how you got the lights to work on this. I'm just getting into making whirligigs and trying to learn all I can asap. I have been doing woodworking for a long time now. But I'm wanting to make one kind of like this and use lights. But don't know much about doing the lights yet. I don't think I can do solar or not. Thanks and you do great work!

What a beautiful work of art. How are the wheels turning? Are they just driven by the wind or mechanized. I'm starting to build my first whirligig and my mind is filled with different kinds of ideas of things to try and make. May God Bless you always. Thank you.

I've been watching whirligig videos recently. This might be my favorite although there is another contender. There are two aspects to your design that you seem to have chosen not to talk about. The LED's that light up and the wheels that turn. I am curious about both and if you included the details of how you did them it might make the plans for this whirligig particularly saleable. Or it might justify another video that would be interesting to a lot of people. Certainly to me anyway.

After careful thought, I think I know how you made the wheels move. You must have used a cable at the end of each propeller rod. Yes?

Das sieht ja mal witzig aus. Ein Windrad was eine Kutsche zieht. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ich kann nicht mehr vor lachen, so affengeil ist das. Das ist super gelungen.

I cut the outer circle and hub and used wood dowels for the spokes. I drilled holes in the hub and fitted each spoke until I had a nice tight fit. Thank you.

I cut out the outer circle and the hub. I drilled holes in the hub, then inserted dowels for spikes and made them nice and tight.
