You're obviously left handed, but Dad taught me (both right handed) to just "lay" the crank over with my arm...and it'd start right up. Video brings back memories.
Actually im right handed, using my left hand is easiest for me, and allows me to keep out of the way to move if the tractor were to somehow be in gear, and just find it's way easier than using my right hand
I have a 1950 IB and thankfully it has a starter motor because it’s a bear to start with the crank , and floods very easily. Nice looking B you have there and sounds great .
With my 39 B, it loves to flood. So what i have done is changed the fuel system from sediment bowl to a shutoff valve and a filter, starts much better and runs better. And when i do start i typically turn on the fuel for a couple seconds so the carb fills up (probably already full from the last time i used it) and start it. Once it fires i turn the fuel on. I do this so it doesn't flood, it still might here and there but generally its pretty good. And the way i shut mine of is that it has a shutoff button that goes to the magneto that cuts the power. Never have carb problems with leaving the gas in it, i don't run the gas out of it because its a sucker to start again if i do.
Like a how to? I can see, i already changed the spark plugs although there should be other videos and what to gap them at online, and i have some videos disking but next time im doing any repairs ill try to film it
Again if i do ever take it off i would, although i honestly dont plan on taking it off for a while therefore wouldn't be putting it back on for a while either, but if i do ill make a video of both
sorry it's been so long since I have filmed this video? what are you wanting pictures of? You can send me an Email (my email address is in the "about" section of my channel)

Excellent video with really useful sensible advice. Thank you. Your Baby Allis looks in great condition. Best wishes from the UK .

See with mine if I don't run the gas out, your not starting it back up (trust me....I know from experience!)
@@Tractors_Trucks_And_Pups yeah i've heard that alot, about the running gas out of carb. Its odd how mine is the opposite lol.
Yes, and we'll with yours, you have the transmission whine in 3rd, I get it in first gear. Geuss goes to show you that every tractor is different!
@@Tractors_Trucks_And_Pups just like a fingerprint!
Love the shirt
Thanks, I do to
Cool
Can you do a video on "what would you do if this happens?" Like changing spark plugs, or attaching a plow etc.. 🥰

Can you make a video about putting the mower on and off
I would although ive never taken mine off, i dont plan on it either, but if i ever do i definitely will
How about one on how it's hooked up
Again if i do ever take it off i would, although i honestly dont plan on taking it off for a while therefore wouldn't be putting it back on for a while either, but if i do ill make a video of both
Let's see you mow with it
I'll see what I can do, I need to fix it first and then see if we can get any rain so the grass will actually grow.
Please send me more pictures so that I can join
