- HOW TO SPOT FAKE DIOR FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS | MY POSHMARK and the seller sent me fake Dior bracelets. Learn how to spot fake DIOR friendship bracelets.
This is my story: I made a purchase on Poshmark and the seller sent me fake bracelets, since I was unsure if the bracelets were authentic or not, I searched on UA-cam and online about how to spot fake Dior Friendship bracletes and I couln't find anything related to this. Therfore, I decided to make a video about it.
I bought the Authentic Dior bracelets from the Dior store here in Costa Mesa California, and I am comparing the fake bracelets vs the authentic Dior ones.
By the way, I opened a case on Poshmark against the seller,, after 2 days, Poshmark approved the return of the fake bracelets to the seller, that means that they were able to confirm that the bracelets were fake.

@@noorashamsi6235 But there is no point in buying a cloth bracelet which they are normally super cheap and you can make them yourself with 400€/$ just bcs they got "Christian dior" on them, you are just buying the name of the brand, and you are not cheating anyone bcs the brand owner is already billionaire. I mean if you can afford it go for it baddie💕 but if I were you even if I could afford it I wouldn't buy them for that price, in fact I would buy something like a bag/shoes or piece of clothes that would actually worth the price.

The fake one’s box is also fake. The plain white boxes rarely have gold lettering from my experience collecting Dior for 15 years - usually a gray lettering on a box that is bumpy with texture. Older vintage Dior white boxes can also have black letters but gold is not seen on the plain white ones. Also The fake box looks from the vid to just be smooth cardboard.
Also - one thing not mentioned in the video - if you look at the fake ones closely, you’ll see that the embroidery isn’t done as well/by hand. There is a thread that connects all the letters together on each word of the fake ones from where the person running the embroidery machine doesn’t want to be bothered tying off each letter like they do on the real ones. The thread goes between the letters at the end points and lazily connects them. You have to look closely on hers or google other images to see what I mean - it’s easier to tell on ones with darker embroidery threads on light backgrounds. But it’s the first thing you should look for online in photos.
It’s easy to hide quality differences in photos online like overall thickness of the bracelet and tassel length - things obvious when you see them in person - but harder to tell online. But those connecting threads don’t lie. Fake every time. Also letter lengths are often sloppy - the real ones have dead accuracy for length of each letter - no ‘I’ that is longer than ‘D’ and such.

Yes, I was really really frustrated when I received the bracelets and for some reason they did not look like high quality, and I said to my self why?, why did I cheap on this?... that is when I decided to go to the Dior store and bought the Dior bracelets and as I expected the bracelets I received from Posh were not even close to the quality of the Dior ones!...

I feel comparing them you can tell a difference but without comparing them I wouldn't be able to recognise the real from the fake. I would like to buy the real one but I think for £330 it's just way too much

Hi. Thank you for your helpful video. I bought a 2nd hand Christian Dior friendship bracelet (with a receipt from a known and legal reseller store in Norway). However, it got me worried when i watched your video and felt that mine was also a little bit bendy ( Maybe because it is used?🧐🤔) Also, the letter S on «Christian» is a bit shorter than all the others. I wish I could send a photo so you can see and maybe can help me out:) The length on the tassel was the same on the original though, as of the length you said on the video:)

If you buy online you usually don't get the dustbag but at the boutique they give you separate boxes and dust bags
