Thanks My Sister! My husband is from Ghana and I told him that has to be a powerful meaning behind the names! I am Yaa!

Yaa is a very powerful name. Bear it with pride and cherish it, especially if you are a believer in the Christian God

I'm writting a novel and one of the most important characters is an Ashanti woman called Yaba.
Since I don't write everyday, it'll take a lot of time for me to finish it, but I hope the book gets nice

Adwoa Danso, can you kindly provide the reference materials for these info. These are just amazing, and I would love to dive deeper. Thanks!

The earliest written source I can find for this breakdown is that of Dr Oduro-Mensah in Akanism and Hebrewism. I cover this topic on a series of two videos on my channel as Yaw is a very unique name if you dare to dig deeper.
Still, full credit due to Vanessa for making these amazing videos and helping write our own narrative
