What you will need
Metal tape measure
Step Ladder
Step 1
Measure the width of the reveal in 3 places
(make sure you measure where you are going to fit the blind)
Measure the length of the reveal in 3 places
(make sure you measure where you are going to fit the blind)
Step 2
Decide how you are going to mount the blind.
Standard orientation face fixed (where the head boxes face the sky and leave a flat surface inside the room is our favourite but it is totally up to you)
Step 3
Decide if you want to use Battens or Angles
Battens- Traditional method
Angles - New! ( Installation is easier/faster and neater with Angles) £100 extra
Step 4
Consider Power!
If you are opting for an electric overhead roof blind you will need to decide where your motor is going to be. Is it going to be on the left or on the right?
The motor is in the roller blind and the wiring protrudes on either the left or right depending on what you specify. The power cable is up to 2.5m long. The motor is 250v and requires a single phase supply 13A. Standard remote controlled RF blinds have a 2 core cable. Hardwired switch operated blinds have a 3 core cable. Decide which fabric you require
Antiglare white: Our 3% openness sunscreen fabric is a stunning addition to any living area such as conservatories, orangeries and kitchens. The glare will removed leaving you with a comfortable living space for you to enjoy. You will be able to see the TV and the heat will be retained in the winter and heat loss will be greatly reduced in the winter.
Blackout white: Ideal for bedrooms and cinema rooms
