Nguyen Qui Duc is a Hanoi based author, arts sponsor and bar owner. He speaks of his affection for his adopted home, Hanoi's arts scene and his new bar in the buzzing Zone 9 area of the city.

Used to listen to his shows on NPR. I truly respect his English skills. Perhaps, that's what got my attention. A few months ago, he was interviewed by Marco Werman on The World. I'm glad he enjoys Hanoi and having his bar. Good guy.

Kind of hard to understand why there are not more than two comments (in ten years) on this remarkable man, who died just days ago at 65.

I used to listen to him on Pacific radio in California. I read his book too.
