Hi Carrie, I appreciate the algorithm introduce you to me. Your content is so helpful. I am a Taiwanese student in the States, and I am experiencing culture shock. Your content helps me a lot in adjusting my mindset and practicing English.
I'm looking for tips on how to conduct informational interviews with native speakers. That is a special conversation whose purpose differs from small talk and formal interviews. I learned about this practice in the States, but I'm still working on doing it fluently and smoothly. For some business students, that is a crucial skill that we need to learn. Would you mind sharing your experience and tips with us about this topic?
Finally, I truly appreciate your time and effort in sharing your knowledge and experience with the audience. Looking forward to your next video!

@@jasonhuang2302 From my understanding, informational interview is a culture that I learned in the States. In this culture, people, often students or someone new in an area, will reach out to the local professional personnel to understand their career stories, industrial trends, and the local hiring market news. Students, most business school students, want to build their network and explore off-maket opportunities via this process. Although not everyone in the industry likes to share their experience with others, most people are still willing to share their knowledge and expand their network with students or new people.
However, even though I understand that it is a kind of networking, I still feel awkward and don't know how to show my strength during this interaction. I will appreciate if Carrie can provide some tips for this kind of conversation.
