Interesting take. A lot of alpha strike damage with missiles, both on ground and in air. But their secondary guns are only useful against light units, and that strong air missile takes time to charge. Seems like a fascinating new addition to the Imperial arsenal, plugs a few holes that existed there.
especially the lack of an interceptor. previously the sakura torpedo is the only thing that fills that role, now EoRS has another option against heavy units.

It's like Starcraft Thor, Viking and Valkyrie had a threesome and produced a demon lovechild. Love it. Need improvements in several parts but as you say, this is still under development. One question: How does Shinshin alternate between arm cannons and missile battery in mecha mode?
Probably a range thing, since they did have to walk up before they could start shooting so if a enemy is within the missile's minimum range they engage with the cannons.

The price of every tier 3 units is costly, when I play against AI player, It becomes more difficult to win the battle. How every I recommend that you should create a new Top Secret Protocol. For example, in REMIX mod, there are 5 points only to use Top Secret Protocol, but it is effective, and each factions have an upgrade to increase income. Your mod is great in 3d models, now you should consider the game engine with Top Secret Protocol, that gonna make your mod be greater

The Shinshin Mecha design wise looks bloody awesome, but it's animation cycles especially in it's biped form look a tiny bit jittery. Dunno if it's just my eyes but when it walks the animation looks... 'slow' by that I mean it is clearly walking fast but it kind of looks like it is freezing mid walk before continuing. Also I am big hoping that the Corona Dev team will be looking to integrating Uprising Units into RA3 Corona. By that I mean upgrading them like they did the base units, I want to see a roided up Giga Fortress battle the Celestial Dragon Boat (Forgot the full name of CE-MCV)

Looks cool but a little weak... The time it takes to lock on can be deadly, and all the rockets in air mode shot at one specific air unit doesn't seem like a good selling point to me...

Would love more helicopter units, though this one looks pretty cool. EDIT: talking about helis, considering the cryocopter is the bane of multiplayer matches, would you do any modification to them? Like, slow the freezing effect slightly (to take a second longer or more to fully freeze a target), or make it have a shorter range?

My understanding is the Chinese faction works around synergies. One on one, a CE unit has a good chance to lose but a two on two with the right composition (think, electro copter + Qilin tank vs twinblade + Rhino), the CE comp will 100% win because the CE units synergize better than other factions (in the example, the electro copter gives a firing rate boost to the qilin tank and the tank has a deflector ability, which combined hard counters the raw firepower of the soviet combo; the same sort of applies against the empire comp of VX+Tsunami and might still make it against a cyrocopter+Guardian). A simpler way to think about it is the CE is the most micro-intensive faction that rewards good micro.
Soviets are armored superiority, while Empire is naval/versatility. CE is like the Foehn Revolt from Mental Omega - extremely specialized and powerful, but VERY expensive units. Their basic infantry is twice that of the Peacekeeper (the most expensive basic infantry in the vanilla game).
Despite the cool af design I hope you guys aren't making some of the old unit redundant by balancing the new unit well. For example this new unit seems like an anti heavy flight unit/ harassment unit. Both of which roles the Jet tengu and the suicide missile you guys developed have already taken. I understand that this unit is for air oriented Empire player, and the missile is for Naval oriented Emps. Maybe buff the missile a bit so that they are a legitimate option of anti late game air for Naval emps???
I don't know enough to accurately judge this unit. Please help me understand. It appears to be an artillery version of the jet tengu. A short delay before a powerful missile attack with a ling cool down. It has the rising sun's transformation ability with anti-aircraft fighter mode and anti ground robot mode. There might be a minimum range on the missiles in robot mode that is covered by guns. I wonder if the ground barrage can be dodged with good micro or if it has high tracking? How much damage it does? Two barrages and about 7 tsunami tank rounds to kill an apocalypse tank, one barrage for a century bomber. Is any of that right?
It is an interceptor that can act as fire support on the ground. It will not replace other ground-focus units' role. I would like to see how much its firepower is in one volley after 3 stars. Huge damage, high speed, and low armor seem like the best unit to farm 3 stars.
The original idea was to make a T4 unit that can act as a reliable aa and provide T4-level ground combat. After some versions, devs changed their ideas. They will add this unit as a T3 interceptor and keep the King Oni (with some more tweaks).
@@davidnnn6986 iirc the only "reliable" tier 4 air killer RS has is the sakura missile thingies right? as much as spamming tengus is fun and a staple for rising sun having to rely on them to kill kirovs/centuries now that they have aa defence is not so fun. having a new heavy interceptor for RS should be a good addition to the game.
Great, another robotech macross mech except deadlier that has powerful air to air capability in aircraft mode then a walking artillery in gerwalk mode. What do the other factions have to counter this? No multirole fighter jets that could engage air and ground targets yet? Soviets Su-27 Flanker assumed it's early model Su-27S can still carry rockets & bombs even if AS-7/10/14 missiles. Whenever I'm fighting brutal AI, Rising Sun Empire will send in waves of robotech chopper and tengu that they'll transform to gerwalk and my fighters just can't engage them ended up being shot down instead by the chopper that transformed into anti-aircraft walkers
At first I thought the unit would need to return to base to refill its missile pods, like other aircraft for the Allies. Does the unit switch between its ground weapons on its own volition, based on what it's targeting?

Jimeng Missile Destroyer is so weak like a joke. B - GRAPHIC 1). Models of your tier 2 & 3 Anti Armor Tanks of the CE faction needs to be more different from each others. 2). The same need also falls to your tier 2 & 3 Anti Armor Tanks of the Soviet faction. 3). Model of Chongming Interceptor is so poor and common, make it different. C - PACK 1. Bring back other Uprising pack's units (Cryo Legionnaire, Pacifier FAV, Mortar Cycle, Desolator Trooper, Reaper, especially the Giga Fortress) and allow Cryo Legionnaires inside the Multigunner IFV and Multigunner Turret to shoot at aircrafts. Special ability of Multigunner Turret and Multigunner IFV need to be taken a very good care of, because it is one of the things that make this game interesting and unique. 2. You forget making transporter units (air & ground units) for your amazing Celestial Empire. lol D - SPECIALITY Please allow players to have access to special units by letting their spies/infiltrators infiltrate other factions' special tech buildings, just like in RA2. Finally, great thanks to your great great work on making the Corona mod.

The aircraft variant reminds me of the Kyushu J7W. A lot of mechanics in one unit. This should be fun to use.

It's intended to be an interceptor. The Jet Tengu is what you want to bring to dogfights against Apollos and MiGs.

Remember Japan in RA3 doesn't even had airfield or airport so yea....

2). The same need also falls to your tier 2 & 3 Anti Armor Tanks of the Soviet faction.
3). Model of Chongming Interceptor is so poor and common, make it different.
C - PACK
1. Bring back other Uprising pack's units (Cryo Legionnaire, Pacifier FAV, Mortar Cycle, Desolator Trooper, Reaper, especially the Giga Fortress) and allow Cryo Legionnaires inside the Multigunner IFV and Multigunner Turret to shoot at aircrafts. Special ability of Multigunner Turret and Multigunner IFV need to be taken a very good care of, because it is one of the things that make this game interesting and unique.
2. You forget making transporter units (air & ground units) for your amazing Celestial Empire. lol
D - SPECIALITY
Please allow players to have access to special units by letting their spies/infiltrators infiltrate other factions' special tech buildings, just like in RA2.
