PD's screens glitching to express how good Jungwoo looks has me CACKLING
Jungwoo actually got the least lines this comeback, as always, but since he killed every part he has and he's actually treated like the lead dancer that he is, you can actually notice him this time. He has always been a good performer but this comeback he improved more in his expression and dance styles so yeah. This is his era!

This song is a GROWER tbh. After listening to the whole album, I know why they chose this song to promote this comeback. It definitely doesn't sound like other songs on the market which somehow have the exact same formula and are replayable on a daily basis. And that's what makes it so unique. It sounds amazing when they sing it live on stage so check it out.
It is, it takes multiple listens to really enjoy it. That’s pretty nice, unlike songs that you automatically love with the first listen after a while it can get a bit old but it’s the opposite for this song.
Yes I agree. All the other songs are amazing but it wouldn’t have made them stick out in the market. Nowadays, having the absolute best song isn’t always how you get people talking about you. They definitely did that but stuck to the “can’t conform us in a box” persona that NCT 127 embodies.

I call this style deconstructed ghost salsa. I also call this video “How Jungwoo got his groove back”, he’s finally at ease with himself after a long journey. He’s very flirtatious, it’s nice to see it onscreen. I like the song, I also gave it about an 8. I prefer Breakfast off that album cause I like a mid tempo groove but Sticker is audacious and interesting.

I am one of those people who liked the song from first listen and it was hard for me to accept such awful comments. The 7th Sense is a prime example of late appreciation. Sticker has been stuck in my head after the 2nd listen and im living for it
Sticker will be treated like Cherry Bomb or Punch, at first alot would be like “wtf?” But weeks(or even months) later they’ll be going around singing and dancing to it like crazy. This happens with most of NCT’s music.

This happened to me with Punch..after months Punch become my top 5 song from 127 along with Limitless Mad City Paradise and Summer 127
the most noticeable thing about this song to me actually was the line distribution / center time being wayyy better than usual. it all feels more balanced even though taeyong obviously still stands out a lot (he's the center, so, yeah). members like yuta, johnny, and jungwoo actually had lines and screen time without anyone being left with just scraps. also, way less cringey english which is a plus.

Open your ears and listen to the composition. Instrumental is minimal to emphasize vocals, but nevertheless it's fits well with the song.

Has anybody put together the fact that them saying "Like a Stick-ah," sounds like, "Like a Stick-up." Which completely matches the rodeo/cowboy theme they were trying to go for. I thought that's what Mark was saying when his teaser came out.

Upon first listen, I was simply trying to process it and had no opinion on it. Afterwards, I went back to actually appreciate the song and mv and immediately loved it. It’s super catchy for me, from the flute melody, to the verses and chorus, I literally walk around singing “like a stickaaa~~~” 24/7. The more I listen, the more it gets stuck in my head and the more I like it. I’m so glad that they did not choose lemonade as the title track, because as catchy as it is, it’s not the most neo sounding song. ANYONE can do lemonade, but ONLY NCT can do Sticker. It lived up to the name neo culture technology and i actually listen to it more than any other song on the album. One of my favourite 127 title tracks indeed.

I love Lemonade. But the moment I heard Sticker, I understood immediately why it was chosen as the title track. No matter in which way, it caught people's attentions. And it starts growing on me especially after watching live stages. I feel like the balance between the music and vocals are much better in live stages.

I didn't realize until pd said that the chorus is the most 'ordinary' part of the song, because when I first listened to Sticker, I was really holding onto the chorus (probably because it was the more familiar NCT sound). On that note, I loved sticker first listen! It's a strange song but that's why I love NCT

the more i listen to sticker, the more i like it. this song is definitely one that grows on you i think; once i got used to that whistle (?) in the bg i couldn’t get it out of my head. at first i didn’t mind (or notice tbh) the feedback/autotune effect they put on their voices as much, but now i can’t not notice it. nct never fails to surprise me with their releases.

This is so "neo" and screams NCT. Such a bold and unique song, I love it! The dance is spicy and so good! The Sticker album is awesome, 10/10! The MV was stunning! I like that this instrumental is different and I love that NCT 127 are going against the norms! NCT = the future of music & experiences!
At first I was like you PD, I respected how innovative and crazy the song was, but didn't like it. And than I listened to it few more times and fell in love with it! It's an amazing song! Also the whole album is really good too. This is definitely one of my most favorite comebacks from NCT 127.

SAme I absolutely love Taeyong's opening rap, I was quite surprised to see ppl saying that it didn't flow cos like it did to me lol. I like Sticker, more than Kick It in fact but still, nothing on Superhuman and Simon Says. Tbh this is my fave bg comeback of this year so far, the recent ones from other groups sound kinda similar to their previous releases. Still bops, but not surprising. Sticker is like a breath of fresh air. Though I understand if some can't vibe with it
I think the “not flowing well” has more to do with how they processed Taeyong’s voice in the very beginning bc I was put off by it at the first listen. But it flowed better after the second listen
I agree that the Simon Says/Superhuman/Regular era is like...the trifecta and IDK if anything will ever top that for me. When Simon Says came out, it was definitely the most like NCT127 they’d ever been up to that point. Weird, experimental, a grower. And then Superhuman is probably the most perfect pop song ever made (and I will die mad about how underrated it is) and Regular is a prime example of a genre done well that I otherwise cannot stand.

You talked about how the chorus is predictable and falls flat, & that you wanted it to be more experimental like the rest of the song- Personally, the chorus and the bridge are my favourite parts of the song. I'm kinda glad they didn't make it more experimental like the rest of the song. I guess the familiarity makes it easier to listen to, & I think a lot of listeners enjoy that. Had it been more experimental and unfamiliar, there would be a high chance that a lot of people wouldn't like it or listen to it. The unique melody, the experimental sounds are not everyone's cup of tea, and tbh the people who'd appreciate the experimental sounds are in minority. So for a lot of people, the chorus is a pleasant break from the unfamiliar sounds of the rest of the song; it's easier on the ears.
They're nct, their brand is about being experimental & always bringing something new to the table, bringing unique sounds to the current music scene. But then, getting a lot of listeners is also important. So to make it pleasing for the majority of listeners, they played it safe on the chorus, and I don't mind it at all. It sounds really good.

People often don’t notice jungwoo as a performer but he’s actually a lead vocal and lead dancer. He’s actually one of my favorite dancers in 127 and I think he has really great camera and stage presence. His voice is beautiful and he has great dance lines.
Sticker is really well done! A masterpiece. The most experimental song by them till now. I can't stop playing it. And it's stuck in my head like a sticker!

Even though it has an unusual sound, compared to other NCT releases, this one got on me from first listen. I just loved the vocals, visuals, feels. I actually felt really satisfied with this comeback.

I actually started reeeeally liking this song after watching the dance, it just ties everything together so well
Jungwoo actually had the least number of lines in all the distributions I've checked - occasionally Johnny is below him, but they're always almost equal at the bottom. I think we're both seeing a slightly more equal line distribution, which is great, and Jungwoo is just killing it in this MV - he's got so much presence that you think you see him and hear him more than you do! I'm so happy to see so many people finally getting to see what he can do and really appreciating it! He deserves it.

Okay, for those who usually don't like experimental songs, how many times have songs that are not doing it for you at first, out of nowhere just make you want to listen to it on repeat. Cause i have notice a lot of ppl end up loving these types of songs at some point. It has happened to me too.
Yup, happened to me when I stumbled upon NCT... At first when I heard their discography, I said to myself, "Do you really like this song? You aren't even a fan of kpop, you don't understand Korean language".
But the more I listen the more I find their songs interesting and unique compared to the general market. I find them extremely talented too. I liked their songs regardless of the language barrier. And now they're the first and only kpop group I am a fan of. Proud NCTzen!

oh bestie trust me, after 3,4 listens it becomes addictive. they really know what they're doing. I love how NCT and even more specifically 127 music is so complex and they really are an experience. Theres so many layers and levels that the more you listen to them the more you discover and appreciate. Its never boring. And they are SO talented, its a treat for the senses.

I have got to say this song really grows on you and I really like the fact its vocal heavy cause nct has got really great vocals. Jungwoo, Jaehyun and Yuta really shined this comeback for me. And Jungwoo's confidence as a singer really shows through in this track. I think this is the most fairest line distribution as well. The STICKER album is really good as a whole.
This is my first comeback as a fan of NCT 127. To be honest, I loved it from the first listen. Yes it’s strange, but as a fan that went crazy when I listened to Punch and Superhuman, this is kinda normal for me. I may be biased a little, but Jungwoo’s parts are the one that made me love that song more. The live performances were great, and Haechan’s voice was not edited as in the original song which made it more pleasant to my ears. Anyways, I hope they collect all awards, and I cannot wait till the repackaged album so I can be amazed again by them.

Sticker is weird and experimental. When I heard the snippet of the song in I Live Alone, I was unsure on what they were going for for the title track. But when I’ve watched and listened it, it really is a neo way. It is really their concept. I love how NCT and SM is evolving in their own way. Since they have established their name in the industry, but still they keep on evolving. Wow

Doyoung and Haechan growling and going hard with the vocals in this song had me super shook this comeback - NCT 127 already goes hard consistently but they always do refreshing and interesting new things each time, and this style of vocalization was one of those cool things I just LOVEDD. NCT 127's title tracks have never failed to keep me listening, imo because SM in general loves to take risks, it makes their artists so listenable long term because the songs are less likely to get tiring over time. In fact they just get better over time because you keep noticing interesting new things.
