@jerryeg327 I've seen this show on TV! I fully agree with you, most of it was the same dumb mainstream pop as usual, but then came The Warning and rocked the house!!
Many times, a bass player is not recognized as much as the drums and lead guitar, but Ale's bass is super solid. Pau says she has perfect timing. Nothing to do with the music but Ale is incredibly beautiful.
@jerryeg327 I agree, Jerry! Of course, Ale is very beautiful 😍 But I also think that she is an excellent bass player, who not always gets the credits she deserves. I've read in some comments that she just plays root notes and simple bass lines which every beginner could do. No, they couldn't! The secret is the timing (like Pau said!), and the precision, locking in with the drummer and provide a solid rhythm fundament to the band at a live show. That's what a bass player is supposed to do, not showing off with tapping, slapping, and all that stuff all the time. As one of my favourite reactors on UA-cam (David Heretic, do you know him?) always says: Simple can be effective when it's done properly. He must know it because he is a session musician and a bass player himself. And in this sense, Ale is really great!
@@arnobenter No I do not know David Heretic. The foundation of any band is the bass and drums. And Ale provides a solid base line. The other thing that should be mentioned is her style and movements. Awesome. My two favorite bass players are Misa (Band Maid) and Ale. So awesome to watch. I think it is so cool that Band Maid and The Warning have struck up a friendship.
@jerryeg327 Oh yeah, I like Ale's style and movements very much, too! Misa is also an awesome bass player, and I would have loved to see the show with Band Maid and The Warning together! I would recommend you to check out David Heretic, I'm pretty sure you won't regret it! He has done numerous reactions to Band Maid and The Warning. What I like about him, is that he always gives very honest reactions, from the view of being a musician himself and with a deep musical knowledge. And he also loves Ale's bass playing style:-)
