My son played baseball and was in the marching band but, my kids are grown and gone now 😭 Some people say if your religious that you shouldn't decorate for Halloween and I think that is absolutely ignorant. It's only evil if you make it that way. I also decorated for Halloween but, it was cute decorations and not a bunch of skeletons and crazy stuff like that. I was raised in church and we were not taught it was evil. I think people make it that way.. Your right, take advantage of every day with your kids. Time goes to fast. Both of mine are grown and gone and I miss them so much my heart aches. I hope your husband is not off of work very long and with your syrup I've been doing that off and on for years but if you want it to be thicker like some of the syrup you buy you can put a little bit of a cornstarch slurry in there I don't know the exact amounts to do that but it would make it a little thicker and not as runny
@@MarieLoveAsbury I would just mix a little bit of the water in the cornstarch and add a little bit of time to get the desired thickness and then maybe the next time you'll kind of know how much you did and you'll be able to do it I don't know exactly how much it made so I don't know how much to tell you
