Ian Perkins is the 5th musician. Not sure if he is an official member or not. He was Brian's collaborator on the Horrible Crows CD 'Elsie'. If you don't have that CD, it is very good.

If you read the liner notes on 'Handwritten' it very clearly states that TGA are not inventing anything new and if you are looking for something new, this is the wrong band and the wrong CD. TGA are East Coast Rock 'n Roll. Tom Petty meets Green Day (I know west coast) with the NJ passion and romanticism of one, Mr. Bruce Springsteen.
Earnest, heartfelt, hard working, unpretentious and still working their asses off.

Totally on the nose, man. It's mechanical and formulaic. I had such high hopes for the Killers, with their classic U2/Smiths vibe but after that first album, they went to shit fast.
