save 9 minutes: (1) aim for 300-500 calorie deficit. when you reach plato, reduce carbs and/or do HIIT (2) eat right food at right time. get/follow nutrition plan with a macro breakdown. protein. carbs. fat. (3) train intensely. you have to earn it. minimise rest time between sets will increase calorie burnt rate (4) stay hydrated. this guy tell you to drink 1 gallon per day. this guy drink on average 3 gallons per day. more water mean more metabolism. water reduces appetite. (5) recover more, stress less. when working out quality is more important than quality. sleep 8 hrs per night. manage your stress. less stress less hormone that makes you fat.
    follow these steps consistently.
if you like this video, thumbs up and subscribe to him.

    5 easier steps:
    1. Eat until satisfied.
    2. Eat the right foods (whole plant based vegan diet)
    3. Train as much as you feel like.
    4. Always stay hydrated.
    5. Get plenty of sleep. Dump that shitty job and do whatever the fuck you wanna do.

+cockshield no. in terms of weight losing/gaining 1 calorie is 1 calorie. you can look up the "twinkie diet"
that guy lost 27 lbs just by eating crap. is he healthy? no as healthy as someone who has celery for breakfast. but did he lose weight? yes and a shit ton of weight. doesnt matter if you eat all vegetables or all junk food, if you are in a caloric deficit, you lose weight, simple as that

I think the best way to exercise is just for fun.
honestly, i like going to the gym in the morning.
it wakes me up, gives me energy and lifts my mood.
exercise is just as essential as eating , we all need it , why not make it fun?
I don't really make goals for myself in the gym and I'm not intense about it. i just go and follow my routine, come back home and take a nice shower and start my day. I think if more people made their goal to be healthy instead of burning fat, there would be more people in the gym.
exercise is wonderful for mental and physical health.

When I exercise I just go at my own pace. I am using a book with exercises in it. the book is called leaner, stronger for men. they have one for women too and its fun :D

Jason Lashley The trick I use to maximize my water intake is having a bottle next to me at work, in the gym, or when I am watching tv at home, and drink a little every 15 min. But 2+ gallons? No way Jose, I don´t have the time to go to the bathroom every half hour.

What is said in this video are very very true! I went down to 75kg from 111kg by having a low calorie diet and working out fairly ... consistently for 6 mths. I also give myself a 'rest day' once every 2 weeks to consume some of my fav food. It was in 2013 when i first started my diet, but recently i have put on a few kilos and need to start the regime again ;)
To those that have failed to shed pounds, please heed his advice. And thanks Ben for showing us the correct method to be healthy again

The truth is: Nothing will ever make a person lose fat from a certain area which means it's impossible to lose belly fat only. However, if you are on a diet and you exercise then u gonna lose fat from all of your body not from a certain area. So, if you do ABS workout what happens is you're gonna build ABS muscle but the fat is still there waiting u to lose your overall fat %. Thanks!

From Mercola's site (also found other sources):
Contrary to popular belief, studies have found that artificial sweeteners such as aspartame can:
      Stimulate your appetite
      Increase carbohydrate cravings
Stimulate fat storage and weight gain
Now, yet another study [source listed] has been published showing that saccharin and aspartame cause greater weight gain than sugar.

Creating a "Caloric Deficit" is absolutely the key to losing not only belly fat, but overall body fat. This is the fundalmental of losing weight. At the end of the day your goal should be to burn more calories than you've consumed.
I know that losing weight is made to appear complicated, but it's not. While it's straight forward, there are no magic formulas. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you must be willing to eat healthy, exercise, stay positive, and rely upon a support system (i.e. family, friends, co-workers) that will hold you accountable for following through on your commitments. Seriously, the more you complicate losing weight, the more you'll fall for all the fads and scams out there. Ben made some good solid points in his video.

Bea A you body naturally burns 2,500 cals a day. So if you eat that amount, you don't lose weight or gain weight. If you eat less than 2.5k cals then you will lose weight however, as he said it depends on your age, fitness and stuff.

Ben Ezra's Abs NOW! I am on your website right now and I wonder how many calories I need to drop after those 2 weeks? And do I need to stay on my 3,000 calorie(that's what came out of that calculator) while i'm training? And what kinds of food and work outs do you recommend? I know I am asking a lot but I want to lose the fat for good now ;-)

I've been boxing for 7 months and I lost 25 lbs:) but I want my abs to show more I still have a little "pooch" what can I do?
    PS: you are sooooo cute!:)

    • @BenEzraFitness
      @BenEzraFitness  10 років тому

Ninialiindaaa08 That's awesome... Great job! Bet you can kick some serious ass now, with your new boxing skills ;) I'd suggest that you follow the 5 steps I mention in the video closely (also check out the more detailed blog post in the the description), and watch the rest of my videos for more useful advice, and steps you can take to uncover those abs. You'll have to start tracking your calories, and add some resistance training to your routine. If you work on building some muscle, your body will have an easier time to burn off that excess belly fat, and it will also help you get passed your plateau... Also, you will be able to burn more calories by incorporating some compound exercises, such as squats and deadlifts to your workout routine, in addition to a full body workout. Step your game up a bit, and you will break through your plateau, and continue to get great results! Thank you for the comment :) - Ben

Its the truth, eat healthier and start running. The worst runs is always the first ones. When you've done it a couple of times, its actually not so bad, and most people learn to enjoy it! A run can be very nice and enjoyable.

    • @QuiteNot
      @QuiteNot 8 років тому

+Butcher6evil III that's right it's so easy to lose weight just move at a decent rate a couple of times a week and it will give you better sleep, reduce stress, you will want to drink more water, eat more, everything should fall into place, it even gives you more momentum for weight training in the off days. If you're not getting results week after week, you're probably over doing it or under doing it, find a pace that works for you so you feel energised after a workout but then hit the bed hard later at night and sleep like a log. That's the sweet spot. Trying to eat mostly good foods help, they are lower in calories and have longer lasting energy, especially eat plenty of protein if you eat alot after working out.
