#json
JavaScript Object Notation or JSON is an open-standard file format that uses human-readable text to transmit data objects consisting of attribute-value pairs and array data types (or any other serializable value).
It is a very common data format used for asynchronous browser-server communication, including as a replacement for XML in some AJAX-style systems.
JSON is a language-independent data format.
It was derived from JavaScript,

This is the first ever video I have watched of Navin. I wish we had a CS teacher like him back in college.
This man explained josn better than many internet teachers and didnt even need a computer
*json. Moreover it's much easier to learn from book than with normal teachers nowadays lol.

Agree
Navin is great 👍
@@gauravnegi4312 Totally agree with you, no cap.
Teachers like you makes education interesting and not make it dull and boring by just conveying some concepts but communicating with realtime examples in the form of stories.
His style of teaching is called "problem-solution" technique of teaching. And he rocks it....
M
This guy needs to be a professor....seriously, he explained the material so concisely & clearly...he didn't bog me down with above entry-level jargon which would otherwise be a pain for a beginner like myself. If you see this, thank you so much and please keep up the good work!!!
I think he is one lol
An Indian is explaining like a lecturer ...You have good teaching skills bro... Love from Andhrapradesh,INDIA >3
Thank you for honoring us with your presence. Regards
He is the heart winning guy !
You're such a good teacher and you speak such a friendly way, amazing!!
thank you man for your work, I really appreciate what you're doing on this channel and I promise you when I'll get hired in the IT domain I'll donate to you.
same here
The JSON should actually be
var jsonStr = '{ "eid" : 1, "ename": "Navin", "salary": 6000, "dept": "Education"}';
which is a string.
To convert it into an actual JavaScript object, use:
var jsObject = JSON.parse(jsonStr);
Cool I'm trying to hack my offline game so I'm trying to learn
string !!!
Dont forget, JSON only support double quote
now I understand json
...There is a situation where we require data from the server in the form of object so in this case json is helpfull but client and server must have library to convert into json..
Thank you very much sir ..
☺
I had been following your channel since I started learning coding.....so whatever concept I want I just type your channel in UA-cam and there's I found a very simplified explanation of any topic so that viewers can easily understand the purpose and use of that clearly .....thank you so much for creating awareness to so many people through your channel and keep rocking .....thank you....
I've been in a somber mood all day, and only got to settle down and study. I have to say this made my day. :)
That is a good explanation! I understand why you need to use JSON now. Thanks for the video!
You explain so well that even a non IT background person can understand well.
I am not even an application guy, just networking and I understood his explanation.
My first comment in UA-cam. But you describing the JSON purpose as a data format to send to a client site thoroughly in a very in articulate way is amazing. Keep it up!!!

Very good explanation! I am new to web technologies, and was been trying to understand JSON for more than an Hr. from different websites. This video gave a good background and explained the concept. I have subscribed for your videos :)
With just 6000 salary you are doing great job and have tremendous knowledge.
Well damn, I understood everything in such simple way and I thought it was way more complex. Thank God you are doing these videos!
The best teacher of UA-cam. Thanks man!!
I did not understand the use case for JSON, now I clearly understand. Humor is very good in presentations, I appreciate yours.
you can work with json in nosql .
Amazing explanation !
Since I dabble with API lately, I been binging .JSON explanation videos on youtube (there are 4 or 5).
I thought I had the gist of it since it started to become repetitive from one vid to the next (string, number, boolean, array, object, imbrication...rinse, repeat).
This dude brought a WHOLE NEW lot of aspects I didn't even know I needed to know.
Really answering the why of .json really really well
you are still undisputed best teacher in the world !!!!!
Great explanation on why JSON is used. I think there's a mistake on the format of JSON object though. The property names should be in double quotations while the property-values are whatever they should be. So something that looks like this:
{
"eID" : 1,
"eName" : "Navin",
"salary" : 6000
}
1 and 6000 would not be in quotations but just left as number values.
My very first teacher of Django framework. Still your video is best and easy to understand till now.
you are truly excellent for describing any concept in simple words.. thank you
You are a superb preacher, stay blessed, what ever the subject you choose to teach, you put your whole spirit in it/ Lahore cantt Pakistan

Navin, your videos and explanations in them are by far among the best on youtube in my opinion.
Man! You are a great teacher. Love you
Very nice anna. Awesome body language and way of describing things. Thanks a lot again.
What you told is about javascript , JSON should have the key and value both in double qoutes .please correct me if i am wrong , I am a newbie in this area.
Thanks for this tutorial. Right exactly in the moment, when I am beginning with RESTful API.
Sirrrr i am really appreciate

An excellent explanation , so much positivity when he speaks.
Great energy
Thank you sir Telusko has become my university now
This is really great. For those working with JSON there is a very nice tool called DeltaJSON which can compare and merge JSON data.
Great teacher. I should have learned this a long time ago. Easy!
Please dont take this comment in the wrong way...When you name a video with a generic name, please understand that your target audience is visual. Your entire content can be visually generated and tell it in a story form.
Thanks for pointing out its predecessor, XML. I don't have a programming background, but I have worked with these protocols/technologies, and the example of its 'older brother' suddenly made things click. Thanks for the vid!
Its 2022 and this video still spreading knowledge
Cleared all of my doubts!
Thank you sir

Thank you Bro for taking your time and explaining this to us. You should have saied at the begining of the video that json is the new standard and a replacement for xml .
i have experience in decoding data with simple framing format not thru internet, decoding data from internet is so difficult, i think JSON will make my dreams come true.

Navin - you rock! amazing concepts in a very simple way! thanks
Clear as a bell and I subscribed. Excellent!
That's really awesome explanation of any topic by you
Jason where ever he his with is mask n machete: I see you guys are now studying" me" , so I gave become a course .
Once again thank you sir .
JSON format has double-quotes on the parameter name and the parameter value. What you used as an example is a plain JavaScript object.
JSON:
{
"id": 1,
"name": "Navin",
"dept": "Education"
}
JSON.stringify🤫
I found an amazing teacher and his name is Navin :) thank you sir
Clear and comprehensive explanation. Thank you, Telusko!
I kindly request if anyone can explain the two terms(vocab) he used something start with "S" and "de fetch" from @06:05 to @06:20.

great teaching wow education is free
Nice video sir.
Sir please make a video in which we are practically using JSON with android on a real web server not on local server so that we can access data in JSON format in the android app through internet.
Got a better idea about the json. thank you.
Best explanation. Mostly description in logical form so it become best.....
Excellent video on JSON.
Simply superb explanation.. Thank you. Keep up rocking.
Awesome Anna! I knew nothing about JSON. Now I know. Great tutorial.
Very good basic explanation Nevin. As someone who is not a career developer and having had to futz with conversions between objects and JSON across various languages, it was very confusing for me (and still is sometimes) to work with what feels like it should be such a simple data structure to use.
Really, very enjoyable and i like to subscribe your site. I didn't subscribe before any technology site before but maybe you are no 3 which YT channel i like and decided to subscribe. I hope your more helpful videos. Thanks for your valuable time to making this effective Learning Tutorials..
