This looks like a reference to the Tekken series. They even use a similiar soundtrack to the Tekken games

Can I just say how much I love when they use a video game theme, *in* a video game. From 8-Bit's addition to the roster, to the Lunar Arcade Update in 2020, and now we, the players are in a fighting game, within a fighting game ourselves. I'm absolutely addicted to this theme and I hope this isn't the last time we see it! Hella hype for Season 10!!🎮🕹️💙

there is like a purple lizard thing in 0:14 next to the colonel ruffs plush, just watching fang, it was not there before. It might be for a skin or a new brawler's pet. In 0:09 there is like a skull poster with that V that virus 8bit has and lunar tiger, maybe bad randoms or starr park stuff it has White glowing eyes (it is at the top right of the screen.)

I love how Brawl Stars is basically the only mobile game that actually has lore. I mean there’s something going on with 8Bit, and that just makes the game twice as interesting

Haven’t played the game since season 7. What an absolute awesome trailer and brawler skins. 8-Bit’s voice too, so cool. I can only assume the update and season was just as awesome as this. I’m glad to be back though
