Jugalbandi by Vidwan Patri Satish Kumar and Ghatam Giridhar Udupa at Shri Madhwa-Purandarotsava 2019

This is the Live stream of Shri Madhwa-Purandarotsava 2019 which was held at Udupi under Parya Shri Palimaru mutt and was streamed from the UA-cam channel @palimaru mutt.
This is the clip of the glimpse of Jugalbandi by Vidwan Patri Katri Satish Kumar and Ghatam Giridhar Udupa. They gave one of the best performance in the program which was held by Mysore Ramachandrachar who is the founder of Ninna olumeinda Pratishtanam Trust.
Shri Madhwa-Purandarotsa is held every year in various religious places and thousands of people attend this program to make it a big success. This was the 14th year of the celebration.

There was big audio level difference between the two microphone sets. The Mridangam level was at least 30% higher than the Ghatam, why? Anyway it was a great Jugalbandi!!!! Keep it up!

Roaring performance! As usual by Sri Patri Satishkumar.. it feels like Nandi himself is performing Mridanga..even Ghatam by Sri Giridhar udupa has fared very well.. but volume should have been better for Ghatam..Appreciate Udupa ji's comment about Sri Patri Satishkumar as brother!!

When patri is playing mrugangam, at some points we might feel he is stoping and just relaxing with a simple note. Just playing a rapid "tharikida Thom thathim." But he will continue with the same note another big one. 🙏
