Weapon sound effects were DEFINETLY from Mafia and Max Payne. Which is good, because in those games every weapon sounded different while still relatively realistic

There's alot of flaws with this video that i would like to point out -No running animation -Punching isn't allowed in Metal Slug unless it's a knife - You're supposed to run through the weapon box -You can't drive the Truck you can only drive Slugs -No parachute intro -Rebel soldier is supposed to explode when near Danger barrel -Shotgun doesn't look like the Shotgun -It should take more hits to make the car explode -You only can shoot the Shotgun in one direction -No Gun sounds from the game -You have to jump over the rock -Shotgun is mid range -You also have jump over the truck -It doesn't take that many shots to kill a zombie when you have the Shotgun at close range -You have 0 bombs at the start. -No boss battle at the end Overall video could use some work, i just did these flaws for fun.
A lot of things bug me about this video: 1) You did not use the animations for the shotgun and heavy machine gun. And on a related note, where is the man saying "SHOTGUN" or "HEAVY MACHINE GUN" when you picked up those power-ups? Did you kill him too? Poor man. 2) You drove a normal vehicle, rather than one of the slugs, 3) No boss, apparently. 4) You should have studied the game more, then you could have aimed for a dead-on parody of the game. A lot of elements from this video are missing, especially since in the actual game these things were the funniest bits of it that you threw out. 5) You used the Metal Slug 3 menu music, rather than the obviously-more-potent-sounding Metal Slug X one. A very, very minor thing to notice, but after recently going through all the Metal Slugs I can safely say Metal Slug X feels far superior in nearly every way musical-wise. So, using that game's menu music only seemed natural to me at the ending when I first heard that buildup to it. The bass felt really low, and that is how I knew it was from Metal Slug 3. Because, well Metal Slug 2 had a similar style, it did not have the funkiness or ANY rhythm in it and sounded so lame after I heard its rendition in Metal Slug X. At least 3 tried to bring that back from X, but unfortunately failed to properly port it over and as a result sounds significantly inferior in comparison. The video isn't bad. Outside my criticisms, you did a GREAT job at putting the sprites in and interacting with them. And you are probably the only man on UA-cam to do something this awesome. But, being a hardcore Metal Slug fan, I would tend to notice things that of course any other viewer would not even think about. whatsoever. Heck, if anyone even applauds me for noticing all these things, I will at least know I am a hardcore fan of the franchise! And perhaps everyone whom has at least tried the games one time was probably thinking of the announcer being absent as well. Really, that was a screw up that is unforgivable my friend. Now, do not take these criticisms to heart in a bad sense. Take them with pride in a positive way, and make your next parody video even better by studying up more on what you are parodying so it is better than great.
