USMC OCS helpful gear tips. PART 1

While going through OCS, I realized that there was not very much information to prepare me for the day to day requirements. Hopefully this gear list will help some of you future candidates get through the program better prepared than we were.

About to pick some expensive “darn tough” socks and just want to make sure I’ll be able to wear them for training.

Quick question regarding the Camelbak end. Do you recommend bringing that entire piece you have in your hand (brown top + black insert) or just the black insert. Also leaving in sept. so this is very helpful. Thank you!
