- I’m really excited to share this next remaster with you all! This has always been one of my personal favorites and it was super fun to do the vocals myself this time. Because of the change in vocals I decided to angle this version of “God Syndrome” as being from Bernadette. I guess Locklear finally got in her head… Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!!

I hope you enjoy this version! I've always loved this song and it was a ton of fun to finally sing it myself! (Of course Ash's amazing vocals in the original still slap!) For this version I kind of imagined it being from the perspective of Bernadette finally cracking to Locklear's mind games. Anyways I'll catch you all later with the next one!

I came in with the painted smile creepypasta wave and have been here ever since and it's amazing to see these songs being remade especially the pianist which is my personal favorite
as someone who doesn't really know the lore behind this one, this song very much slaps as much as the original and I'm all here for it.

This is actually a series Madame Macabre wrote about a mad doctor who harvests the organs of criminals to give to innocent people in need of transplants. It's a really awesome horror story, and Madame Macabre has the entire series up on her channel, I highly recommend it if you enjoy medical and/or psychological horror

Would have loved to hear Ashe return for backing vocals to make it seem like they’re singing a duet, or like Locklear is egging Bernadette on from the background. More of anything Locklear is always a blessing though 👀

man, i remember back when i was 13(around 2017-2018), i used to have such a big crush on Locklear (So if you see all those mentions in your deviantart, please ignore them, those were from a different time) the original was great, but you floored the remaster with your vocals! I was just thinking of a scene of a crazed demon hunter torturing a fallen angel just by hearing this song, and i love it!

The original God Syndrome has always been one of my favorites of your original songs, and the one I've always gone back to listen to again one more time no matter how many newer songs you release. Getting a remastered version, as well as finding out you're turning Doctor Locklear's story into a novel, is the absolute best thing I've seen in my subfeed today~

SCREAMING!!!! So glad this exists, so glad the Locklear book's gonna be a thing, just- gah! So good, man! An excellent rendition of an excellent song. I remember trying to run a one-player systemless ttrpg thing for one of my friends when we were kids where her character was trying to escape after Locklear had captured them. This thing inspired me so much, and am so happy to hear a new take on this song after eight years. It's just as good.
