i used to work for a upholstery and all i did was take out and put back car roofs so this should be easy
How did all the plastics seal once u put everything back together. Like was there any gaps. Also does this effect the airbags at all? Great vid btw best one for mustangs I’ve seen👍🏼
The plastics and everything went back perfectly like stock. I would just say be careful not to crease it and damage the edges of the headliner and you will be fine 👍🏻. Thanks for the positive feedback 🙌🏻

Was the 550 star count too many? Would you go down to 350 count? Also any ideas on wiring it to the headlights so you don’t have to use the cigarette lighter…. Are the wires long enough to run it that way?

How much time did it take you start to finish?
Spacing out the stars and gluing them individually was the hardest and I spent about 20 hours

Hey how did you get the headliner out from the pillar with the seatbelt attached to it
I pulled back the plastic pillar enough to ease the headliner out
Does your headliner hang down a little in some parts of did it all fit back good?
Nope fit all back up like stock. Just got to tuck the cable once you put it up.
the power cable that i got isn’t long enough to get to the cigarette lighter what should i do it’s about 3 feet long at most
is there a type of extension i need to use

I have a ‘16 GT and have constant issues with my Blue Tooth. And the harness that Ford uses is proprietary and switching it out with ANYTHING costs at least $1800. It’s a freaking nightmare.

How did you mark the headliner to randomize the stars and not making it clustered?
I just counted the dots as I made them and tried to cover the entire headliner widely spaced then put the remaining dots to make everything even. It’s really just eyeballing to make sure they look even as possible.
How did you take off the headliner?

Hey man quick question was it hard to take it out of your car ? Like do I have to take out my seats to fit it out the window or will it fine coming out of the car?
It wasn’t hard at all just lean the front seats all the way back and it will fit through the passenger door

i just order the same lights for my 2014 mustang. How long did this take you to do ? And did you run into any issues?
I did it over about 3 days I spent probably 20 hours on it
My damn headliner isn’t even anymore bc the big ass boxes
How’d you take it out of the car?
Once you pull back all the trim pieces and release the 2 magnets in the back lean both the driver and passenger seats all the way back and go through the passenger door opening. I rotated the front part of the headliner so that would it would go out first through the door opening.

the stars look too evenly spaced apart. They need to look more randomly placed to look more like a natural night sky
