    I live in Australia and have a 21 model. It's been a great bike for price and I can still hang in the Twistys with the bigger boys , I commute on mine and never let me down. This big is good for new to intermediate rider . Good review mate .

    The rear shock is adjustable for rebound, you can see the C spanner adjuster on the top of the shock in your video. No adjustment for the front suspension. Here in the Philippines, this is far and away the cheapest 650 you can get. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of dealerships outside of Luzon, or Cebu. But that is now improving.

    I think it’s a decent bike and it looks great and the tech is amazing. Buy one you won’t regret it. 2 year warranty. The parts take about 1-2 months to get but that’s not bad considering our shipping ordeal nowadays. The seat is nice I do t know what he’s talking about. It’s comfortable and it’s a quality bike no matter if it’s made in china who care as long as it hold up over time. Truth is there no history for these things though so you have to bite the bullet. My yahama/honda dealer says he sellls more of these than all the rest of the bikes combined. That’s says something. Be safe and ride on!!

    great comprehensive review man, you covered almost all my questions. i'm looking to buy one of this as my first bike actually. one question i have: how precise was the gearbox? I mean did you feel any noticeable difference at different RPMs when you tried to upshift or downshift? and also. did you try to shift clutchless? Thanks from Romania!

    • @hoagiemoto
      @hoagiemoto  2 роки тому +4

      I didn't have any problems with the 650nk gearbox. It wasn't the best but it wasn't as bad as my MT09. I'd say it's only going to improve with wear. I never had a problem finding neutral. I didn't feel anything harsh or get difficult at any other rpm. I moved the shifter right away to a more comfortable position for my foot. The shifter was too high at first and I was having to bring my foot up too high to downshift. I immediately changed that and it felt good ever since.

    • @hoagiemoto
      @hoagiemoto  2 роки тому +2

      Also you can shift clutchless if you desire but it's so ingrained into me to pull the clutch in slightly that I rarely do it

    I know how to drive manual I've never riden any type of motorcycle besides as a backpack during childhood. For the most part I'm very confident I can just pick it right up and be comfortable in a matter of two weeks. I'm 6ft on a good day and weigh 270 would this bike be good for me?

    Well that’s good to hear because they’re not can I find one in Nevada there’s apparently dealerships that deal in CF Moto, but they they don’t have the motorcycles at all. They convey to me that it could be a month or two down the road when somebody’s looking with cash in their hand, that is a stupid thing to do The best thing they could possibly do to enhance and better their business because nobody knows if the bike is good or not, I mean I’m watching videos, but I’m also seeing videos that I do understand because most of them are in other languages, which is a delay in appropriate but the ones that are in English that I do understand or people that have a few miles on their bikes that’s it that is really turned especially when you’ve walked into multiple places that are supposed to carry them, but don’t have them because the manufacture is not sent them out that is a good way for a dealership to lose and also affect manufacturing people want to bike now, so they can ride later not get a bike later or not ride get a clue parts gotta be in the stores gotta have decent videos here in the United States. Once that people can understand that or not in other languages. remember, you’re in the United States

    454 pounds is a lot for a 650. These bikes have huge msrp discounts right now. I guess dealers didn’t sell many?

    • @hoagiemoto
      @hoagiemoto  9 місяців тому

      That is a lot on this suspension. If there were optional springs out to stiffen up the suspension it would probably be fine but I don't know anyone that makes any. We sold all of our 650 models

      Faired bikes on long trips not good on the wrist or back,this bike will be perfect because its got the power to go on highways easily and you sit upright all day without hunching forward and to fix that wind blast theres plenty of universal aftermarket screens to fit onto the bike.
