You know Michelle, whoever the women was that made the comment about how you blend make-up, total JEALOUSY! Anyone that watches your viedos knows, that blending is what you have done, for many years. Obviously, she just couldn't help making a comment because she can't get her own make-up that blended. Some people are just Haters. You look Beautiful as always! ❤

Those critical types nit pick others and think it's normal when it's not. They are the types that are critical of everything.
More often than not, in your video intros, you inform viewers that you are working on mature skin and all of the challenges that come with age related changes, so I wonder why people don't take that into account. Instead of critiques, just relax, watch, and learn. Makeup is supposed to be fun.

Oh, the young, ignorant trolls! They're all in for a shock when they reach 50. These TikTok divas have no idea what they're in for. Real life doesn't come with filters to smooth out your look, and we're past the 'vaseline on the camera lens' phase too, LOL. Don't let them drive you crazy. Us mature gals most definitely see the depth of your skill and greatly appreciate your instruction. Not only do you look beautiful, but you help all of us to be more beautiful and feel more beautiful too. Thank you!

Filters are the worst! I love that you don't use filters! I admire that about you. And I'm 45 with things going on with my face as well. It's part of aging. That's why when I found you I was drawn to your content. Filters IMO cause maturing women to feel bad about themselves. So thank you for what you do!!

She really does. Other channels make it way too complicated. It isn’t permanent and doesn’t have to be perfect. Tips and tricks, like blending, placement, light layers (and all that) good quality product, color theory (which many don’t understand but once you do, makeup life gets a lot easier😂) their recommendations, application and shaping, along with having and utilizing tools are the most important part, imo. Even if you mess up, if you have the basics down, nearly everything can be tweaked to fix. So many other beauty creators don’t take into account people’s face shape and features being unique and they just all slap makeup on in the same place for everyone. One sees one big creator do it so they then make it their go to even though it doesn’t work for everyone and then that becomes the “rule” or trend. You can definitely tell who’s a professional MUA with a lot of experience like her and those who are self taught and only have done their face primarily too. I mean look at her end result. It’s absolutely stunning, and she can achieve this with damn near any products she’s given and that’s what makes the difference between an experienced MUA and a beauty influencer. What she does is wearable and looks great in real life, not just on camera with filters. Lol
I used to wear Estee Lauder and lancomb, and other high end cosmetics, but now I'm living on retirement, those brands are a thing of the past. So, I'm really grateful for your videos even though I'm 20+ years older than you. I'd still like to look presentable once in a while. Thanks again gorgeous one ❤

I've never seen a video of yours and I am only 19 min into this one. Even I, a 50yo makeup gumby, know that blending eyeshadow on a crepey, lived a full life eye lid just isn't going to look like it might on a smooth, always had sunscreen 18 yo eye lid. I've resigned myself to never looking like the Insta, filtered young beauties. Because I am 50. No surgeries, no sunscreen as a child, no procedures, and my eyes have seen it all. Don't spend too much energy on these critics who clearly are ignorant of what aging entails.
I am all for hi def tv. I want to see it all. It is REAL LIFE.

Each year we have to adjust on how we put on makeup
I think we all are gorgeous in our own ageing way
With our lumps and bumps and our lines and wrinkles
We are beautiful and timeless
I could be all kinds of wrong, but based on the name of your channel, one would believe your presentations are directed to mature viewers, helping them look awesome over 50ish. If so, they expect the skin imperfections, as they have them too. The 20-something viewers can take note for later in life or watch channels directed to their age group. As you know, your work always looks amazing! Thank you!

This Milani foundation is my long time favorite, I choose it most days even over my high end ones. I love it with the Embryolisse under it! It just gives such a smooth natural finish and looks freshly applied all day.

Milani concealer seems to work really well!!! Love the addition of the brown eyeshadow on the outside of the eye!!! You look great in warm colors those are my colors as a Spring as well!!! Beautiful!!

Since I turned 70 last November, your explanation of a mature eyelid versus a young eyelid is spot on. I was a makup artist for 20÷ years, and believe me, it is a whole different ballgame for us with older eyelids! Love your tips, tricks, and explanations and especially on a budget! I am 60 years old and appreciate your videos. I tried the Milani mascara and found it difficult to remove and made a mess in my sink. I prefer regular mascara and Loreal makes very good ones. I always use lash primer as well.
Tubing mascara makes a mess in the sink for sure.

You are funny - you said don't watch you on big screen tv. Too late. I watch UA-cam on my TV all the time. It's too hard for this over 60 gal to see the videos on my phone. I like Milani products. My very favorite is the supercharged brightening under eye tint. It works great on my undereye darkness. I also really like the make it last setting powder and the cheek kiss blush in Nude Kiss and in Blushing Berry. The anti gravity mascara is also good. I will try that tubing mascara. I have only tried the Tarte tubing mascara and liked it. I have watched your videos every now and then, but will now subscribe. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and talent.

Beautiful look… drugstore makeup is FINALLY getting good❤
I’m 56 and I notice on my eyeshadow that one eye always looks great and seamless, while my other eye always looks like I didn’t blend it as well (and I know that isn’t the case because I did both eyes the same way😂), it’s just frustrating how the shadows on my eyes makes the eyeshadow look more harsh on that one eye (to me anyway… I doubt anyone else notices it!!). It’s so true about the grooves and veins and discoloration as our skin ages… makes a huge difference!!

💜 Hey, Michelle! As a new-ish sub (I found you about a week ago) who's also a southern gal, I love your sass! LOL! That said, I'm turning 50 this year. I've never been afraid of aging, but I do want to do so with confidence. 🎨 Makeup is like art for your face, so updating my technique makes sense. The Milani Luminoso line is one of my favorites--the blush, eyeshadow, gloss, etc.! ELF and Physician's Formula are my other drugstore "go-to's." I find ELF has really great skincare options and more, and Physician's Formula products made with various butters [eyeshadow, blush, face powders] seem to offer a smoother finish for more mature skin.
I truly feel like I'm hanging out with a friend and learning something while watching your videos. I always say that any wrinkle I have is a mark of my life experience! Those younger girls? They'll figure that out soon enough. LOL! No worries! Have an awesome weekend, Michelle, and Chat! 🙏💜
